My Deep Impact/Little Prince crossover fanfic has been poorly received by the community.

I must've missed the joke... but I would gladly sacrifice my life to save the world and the people I love...

Anyone care to unearth the hidden humor in this strip?

Why couldn't they just set the nukes to launch in a few hours, giving the astronaut enough time to leave? Is it because the asteroid is moving faster than the astronaut could ever travel meaning he couldn't escape even if he did do that?

Kind of cool that they could organize this effort in such little time though :p.

On the moon without a space suit. I doubt that explosion will hurt him

It's not an astronaut, though that would be interesting; c'est le Petit Prince! We read this book en français this year, and he is a very strange little boy. I find this hilarious only because I've read the book, and I imagine that anyone else who has read the book feels the same :whistling:
