As some of you may or may not know - I've been working closely with the administration for some time now, both with the future of Codex and the renovation. I have also been closely working to act as a quality assurance tester for applications such as Abrosia.
Thanks for the promotion and I can assure you this is a step forward for Codex and the future of the community preserved here.

Hello Dan, as a concerned member of the community, I hope to see some anti-racist action in your moderation ^__^.
Spoiler
Arman
Yeah because our current staff obviously discriminate against racial minorities here.

Naw, that's not what I'm implying at all. I just think it's rather remarkable that there still exist people on the board who have, on numerous occasions in the last few years, openly called for the death of people based on race and sexual orientation.
This is what I mean, as a concerned member of the community, by bringing up the need for anti-racist action by the moderators.
If any racist and/or derogatory material (whether that be images, text, speech, etc) is posted on the boards, it will be removed as soon as it is seen by a moderator. The easiest way to let a moderator know is by the Report button - use it!
Cheers for all the congratulations guys!

While I, a veteran member, have been willing to put up with it, I doubt new members will find it too welcoming and will not have the patience that I've had with the reactionaries on the board and just leave.

Well it's already against the rules it's just that we haven't really had any moderators since the restructuring and the admins have had more important things to focus on.

Now we can just get Dan to deal with all that crap.

For a while I never got on that's all. Like a week or two ago when I remembered Neopets, I remembered Neocodex and started being active again

Did Dan just jump from programmer to smod? Or was he a mod?
Anyways, congrats Dan
Programmers are mods (in the programming section).
You can check the Moderating Team list for all the sections which people have powers in.
