After a girl has her first period, she can become pregnant. A lot of girls start their periods at a very young age, especially if they are little fatties. How anyone can get away with having sex with an 11 year old is beyond me.

Such a shame abortions are so frowned upon. One would think the solution to reduce the number of abortions is to educate people on avoiding unwanted pregnancies, but noooooooo. You're not allowed to talk to anyone else's kid about sex.

It's such a double standard. OH! Don't kill the innocent unborn fetus/embryo/thingy. Just go ahead and bring it into the world and THEN let it suffer it's whole life by having you as a stupid-ass, selfish parent. A lot of people who oppose abortions and refuse to take birth control for religious reasons eventually kill their babies anyway by slapping them, or shaking them because 'they wouldn't stop crying'. Stupid people only breed stupid people.

Wow! That's crazy I didn't birth could be possible at 11. But the age doesn't freak me out. Different cultures are different. Just because we think 18 is right doesn't the whole world should think that. Nor does knowing what a condom is equal maturity. Nor does age equal maturity. We shouldn't judge.

Oh gosh, how sad. I feel sorry for her. I would hope that someone with more maturity steps in and looks after the baby. I hope the guy goes to jail, he should know better regardless of where he comes from. 11 year olds barely have the right bone structure to carry a child, I wouldn't be surprised if there are problems down the track with the mother or the baby.

As for that girl on the Maury show, if she was my daughter I'd lock her in a basement. Some of the girls you see these days giving it away like candy are atrocious. I pray to god my daughter (if I have one) doesn't end up like that. A lot of people say the parents are to blame for their attitude but I don't think it's true in some cases, you can't always control the way your kids turn out.

Aaaamen. In my speech class this summer, I made a suggestion (in a class discussion, not a speech) that people must be tested and reach a certain IQ threshold in order to procreate.. I gave an example of a stupid, obese family in the Walmart parking lot (so surprising! ). The parents were waddling down the middle of the parkign lot aisle, you know, where cars drive, and their daughter was waddling behind them. Though i don't remember what they were talking about, it was clear neither of the parents even tried to graduate high school.. someone countered me, "Well, yes, while it seems good in theory to get rid of stupid people, who will dig the ditches? Who will make sandwiches?" etc. But the stupid people who go on welfare.. well.. that's another complaint..
