Well, we have no idea how long they will be down, they have a lot of work that needs to be done.

In the meantime, it looks like you're stuck using other sites, or just sitting it out until Demonoid comes back (If they do come back )

Which is why its down... On and Off. AFTER you get to the site and get the torrent. OpenTorrent keeps it alive forever.

Anyways. ThePirateBay was ordered to shut down, long time ago. They are still their. Their ISP gets sued every 12 hours....They keep coming back.

Yup. I think it requires membership. But I stopped going to demonoid a few years ago because it's always down. I didn't know it's still surviving.

Demonoid's tracker is online again as of a few days ago. The actual site proper doesn't have any updates, but it's some glimmer of hope, at least

The pirate bay is pretty good for most stuff. Wht I don't find on it, I google. But that's pretty rare.
