    Thats flash gm lol
    And who's zdl?

What about trevor. What gen was he?
I think silent and dck are first gen. Netbus and sk8 and eric are like 1.5 gen. They were on my artmoney team lol.

Flash GM? I fucking remember him from WAY back. If I recall correctly, I remember seeing a quote or a picture of some sorts that Flash posted from TNT saying he was under investigation for making and distributing programs to use on Neopets. Good times.

What about the dude who made the FAB autobuyer? That thing was my first ever real program used on neopets.

I remember this aswell. I remember alias's autopricer, auto adopter, and various other programs. Was he the one who uploaded FAB? or was it maybe that Machiavelli guy?

    I always considered myself 3rd generation, but I guess I'm somewhere between 2nd and 3rd? I've no idea. :p

Eventually I want to set up a codex history project which one of the older members are in charge of. I want to remember this stuff :p. We've tried to do it before but nothing came of it. We'll try again soon :p.

Was that one of the projects we were gonna try with the wiki? I'm just curious. :p

Yes, but that was utter failure. Instead of a distributed approach where everyone just contributes, I think I'll set someone in charge of it this time :p. That usually gets things done :p.

I'd be surprised if we're not actually on like the fifth or sixth generation.

I always considered myself early third generation. There are tons of people who had came and left before I joined.

    zdl = zerodelocke

married to sakura, owns a sonic

    played l2 :p

Wtf they own a sonic? Sonic is the shit around here. Especially those late nights when the only thing open is Waffle House and Sonic and you just want a god damn banana split.

When he shut down Atmos after numerous legal threats from TNT he said he was only taking a short break, but as far as I know he never returned to the scene. I think at the time he took Atmos down he was early in his college career and that was a major reason for the break. Keep in mind this is many years ago, so I could be inaccurate.

I believe that I would fall into the 1st get, because I am no christmasfag.

    Thanks for that.

I agree with the above posters arguing against the premise. We've probably had more than four or five such generations. Around two new generations a year, for a total of 6-9. 2004 to 2009? We surely had more than one a year, yes?

But regardless, it'll be hard to create a history project after the fact. One should have been started in the beginning. A literary tradition, as the schools call them. We had attempts at an ezine over the years, but none of them were as popular as they could have been. I'm attempting to take my school paper out of obscurity, so believe me, I understand the magnitude of the task.

I presume I fall under first generation too, once again I was not apart the Christmas registrations.

However, I feel a large majority of members would like to deny that :p

They were cool! I bet they had a kid by now.

They already had a kid when they were here. I forget her name, really cute little girl though, they had her when they were quite young I seem to remember.

I still think we are like fourth.

I think first generation would be anyone who was here from before the .us domain. Anyone that was here since 2004 but after the .us domain would be second generation and then the cycles between the different website feuds would be third generation and so forth. So I think saying we are fourth generation would even be pretty generous.

We didn't have the .us domain until after 2004 did we? I think the .us came later after trouble with RDD? We were ncodex.com or something similar for quite a while.

I always think of myself as being sort of 1.5, not quite from the beginning but not far off.

iunno, ever since the fourth gen (like me) there's just been a slow trickle of bastard children. Group them as you will :p
