I can only imagine that they do.

I mean we host Autos and we promote Real World Trading (That's a Runescape term for those who Play/Played).
I don't believe that they wouldn't

What I'm really wondering is if they actually get on this site and try to bust people for using it.

Anyone Know?

There is no way for them to find out your username unless you are daft enough to post it on the boards.

Using the program can get you frozen if you are greedy or don't know what you are doing. There is plenty of help to be found on Codex to help you out though.

would TNT really bother with that? i read in some other thread that there are very few staff in TNT, i don't think they'd be spending time looking in third party sites when they have enough issues in their own site

I've banned accounts made with their corporate WAN IP range before so I think it's likely that they sneak on here from time to time. Hasn't happened in 3 or 4 years though I don't think.

That was pretty dumb of them. Think it was out of curiosity or because they were investigating? And what did your ban message say?

Abrosia wasn't available way back then, it was only released back in August.

I would assume they were checking it out after receiving reports about the site and the programs.

usually what happens is that people sign up just to report other people while acting friendly on the outside.

It's happened before, and it makes it as if tnt is here.

There are many members who enjoy acting like spies for TNT so that they can obtain extra brownie points.

I can't help but think those brownie points are mostly in their heads. I waste no love on TNT and the way they run things, but I can't see them granting favours to 'spies'. Sounds like malicious twelves to me.

For all intents and purposes this site is illegal.

Since Neopets has been taken over by Viacom, they've been less stringent on these kinds of sites. On the other hand, they hit the freeze button much more freely than they used to. =/

This site is not illegal at all, we don't break any US laws. The only thing we come close to breaking is Neopets' own T&C which isn't legally binding.

Psh, illigal, don't make me laugh. Although I hear that some day, scamming people out of online items and currence might become illegal. Brave New World indeed.

It sounds silly, but there have been numerous incidents on other cheating websites where certain 'spies' would track down the users on these sites and send them taunting Neomails. Shrug.
