For those of you that don't know Ron Artest, he is known for his tenacious, yet sometimes unorthodox methods of playing defense, as well as his outspoken personality.

I found this vid on youtube, and couldn't stop laughing. just check out the replay nearing the end of the vid, and trevor ariza's expression. priceless.

HEY! Ron just wanted to make sure that the shoe wasn't a safety hazard to all players on the court. I don't see anything wrong with that :)

You would think he would walk off the court to tie his shoe. NBA players crack me up though, I'm not sure why

WASHINGTON–The investigation of Gilbert Arenas and the guns he brought to the Verizon Center took a much more serious turn Friday amid a report that the Washington Wizards point guard and teammate Javaris Crittenton allegedly drew on each other during a locker-room argument over a gambling debt.

I had just read that before I came onto codex. God, can pros be any more stupid? It's like that NFL player who shot himself in the foot because he had a gun in his pants.

LOL yeah that arenas controversy is causing a lot of uproar in the nba because players feel misrepresented now. i'm sure the media/parents are labeling players as all carrying guns, based on just that incident. and many players are expressing their disappointment about that issue. gilbert will most likely get suspended for the rest of the season, which sucks because the wizards were just starting to come back from their horrible last season.

Hah, I love it. Artest is great - you need some of that attitude in the NBA.
