I've got the email and everything to prove that it IS my account...but is it possible to ask TNT to tell me the birthday from their database?

Has anyone ever succeeded at doing this? :o
If not, is there any way to hack back in?

Okie doke. I was hoping not to attract attention to myself from TNT, but looks like I've no choice. :(

How can you forget your own birthday? There is a reason why you can't change your birthday because it is impossible without manipulating time to manipulate the date of your birth.

If you give me fake information in place of information that you should never forget and you ask me to return the information, I would think you are an imposter or you gave me false information. Either way I wouldn't trust you but you can try to see how stupid TNT is.

*shrugs* I guess it's worth a try anyway. Some people don't like to put their real birth dates because of privacy factors, see?

Or because you lied about your age because you were too lazy to fill out a COPPA form :p

As for hacking, definetely possible, if Chinese hackers could steal source code worth hundreds of thousands of dollars from Google, imagine how easy it would be for them to steal your fake DOB details which is probably worth hundreds of thousandths of dollars. :p

Actually I had the exact same problem. The account was three years old (as in, I hadn't used it in that long). I emailed them and said that I could prove the account was mine, but they replied that they purge this data from time to time and couldn't help me no matter what I could prove.

You may be lucky though. It looked as if they wanted to give me the date but simply couldn't. If yours hasn't been purged yet, there may be a chance. For clarity, this is what I got:

This account has been dormant for too long and we are unable to assist you in the recovery of the account. After a period of time, information we need to verify ownership of the account is deleted from our system. Since it is no longer possible to prove ownership, we are unable to release any of the login details. Please feel free to open a new account. Thank you for the email.

Yeah I've always wondered this. I've got like 10 accounts that are at least a year old and then my original account from back when I had to lie about my birthday otherwise I wouldn't be able to fully participate. I wish I could get into that one, it was back when they were discovering the lost desert. We've come so far....

Yes there is a way to BDAY crack an account - but its very costly and someone who could do it wouldnt even bother for accounts that arent mega rich.

You could allways just keep trying - it has been known to happen, it hopefully is only the year thats incorrect?

I cannot get back into my old account because I forgot the password and I started it when I was younger and faked an older age in order to be able to use all the options. I also forgot what email
I used and to top it off I moved so my ip is completely different. I have tried emailing. Once I got a reply telling me to supply more information but after that I did not get any type of response ever. It really is sad :(

That is your best bet to getting your account back, but like it was said earlier, if it has been too long, then you might not be able to get it back at all because it's no longer in the system.

Unfortunately, the only method of re-entering an inactive account that required you to input a birthday was patched up ages ago. Apparently, there are a few methods of bypassing this system but VERY few people are willing to tell you.

Anyway, good luck trying to get your account back. =)
