Alright, ive noticed that neopets has gotten a little ban happy lately, so, this may be brought on by paranoia, and may even be a noobish question, but eh, doesnt hurt to ask. o.o

Alright I saw that it is illegal yadda yadda to use multiple browsers, so, in light of that, if im using firefox, and open multiple tabs (I usually open a tab for each daily then go through one by one, its just faster for me ><), does that count as *extra* browsers? Or is that still one browser to them? Ive been frozen before, had an account that was made in Y2, and this ones only 7 years old and just *now* got it to where I have my darigans back. So again, sorry if this sounds a bit paranoid-ish, but RaeveN and Phaete know me to be overly so with these guys due to past experiences with TNT lol. Ty for any and all info ^^

Erm, it's not illegal or against Neopets' rules to use however many different browsers you want. You just can't use two different browsers at the same time because Neopets restricts you to one set of cookies at a time and so you'll end up being logged out of one or the other.

I'm 99% sure I read in an editorial a loooong time ago saying two browsers, specifically to transfer pets between accounts, is fine.Also, since each browser has a different set of cookies, you can be logged into different accounts.

Hi TNT! Is it okay if you are logged into one account using Mozilla and your second account using Internet Explorer? It would make transfering stuff via the TP a lot easier. And you can send Neopoints from your main account to a side account via the TP, right? Thanks! ~ cmf_fern
Yes and yes! This is fine... as long as it is used in a responsible manner. You are allowed to send Neopoints to your alternate accounts, of course, since you will need to take care of your Neopets on that account. If using two browsers makes this easier, have at it! But many people use this trick to gain an unfair advantage over other players, to participate in multiple account restocking, to scam while pretending to be two different people, and a host of other shady dealings. Of course, in cases like these, it is absolutely NOT allowed. Just keep in mind that one account is your main, and the other is your alt, and all rules still apply even if you are playing both accounts at the same time.

Again I apologize, ive had 2 friends frozen in the past 2 weeks for stupid crap they didnt even do, sooo, yeah its just me being overly cautious x.x hehe. Tyvm for the information. I just didnt want them flipping out on me for utilizing the tab feature on my dang browser lol

Oh sorry; I didn't mean to come off as condescending or anything. And I feel your pain, my 100% legit 9-year main was frozen after I was cg'd and they wouldn't give it back. :'(

Wow o.o, yeah my main got frozen for abusing dailies or some crap, which is bs. I would visit my lil sis at my mothers, and would use her comp. Apparantly since I won a fire fire pb on the fruit machine, then gave it to her so she could have a fire pet, they froze *both* of us, and kept saying *I* was abusing dailies. Even after I sent them a mail stating that if they looked further into it, that im hardly ever over there, they would see that their argument is moot. We were never unfrozen, and to this day my sis wont play, and shes 18 now. I dont really blame her. So apparantly, to them, you cant hand a sibling a gift if youve ever been to their house ><

This was years ago, and they just kept sending me that bs auto response of *You broke the rules, yadda yadda* Im really upset because I had finally gotten my fricken darigan eyrie, and if you type into the search bar you can see him. If you click on him, it says the owner of this pet has been frozen blah blah blah. I argued with them for about 3 months on it and just gave up, because I got that auto response *every* time

I think at this point I would *literally* explode into pieces if I got that thing back lol

If it was several years ago then you'll have no chance of getting it back.

Yeah probably, if you look up the username nothing comes up, but the pets still there if you look him up o.O lol Doesnt hurt to try though

I would recommend you don't sign on from a computer other then yours. If a person was frozen on that ip they might watch you ccloser.

so you are actually allowed transferring NP to another account?? then why are ppl getting frozen over it?

Yeah I never saw anything that said you werent allowed to transfer nps/items to another account. I know that you cant make money on a side account, but this was my lil sis's account so it wasnt a side account at all. Who knows ><
