It seems not to have been a dupe event after all, rather a very peculiar attempt by TNT to quash inflation of a random item.

I'd asked them a while back to randomly hand out more krawk transmogrification potions because I'm having a hell of a time catching up to the 20mil price. Maybe someone was complaining about the inflation of the Chokato? Either that or they really were trying to cover up a brilliant dupe

I think they might indeed just want to cover some kind of dupe that's going on. But we can't say for sure, I guess.
