They've been saying these four for as long as I've known about neopets - around six or seven years. I can remember when LEVs came out for the first time, and they were considered a monopoly buster for the jade ss. The price on the JSS didn't drop all that much though

Yep, it only got worse, LEV actually rose to jade's price x_x I'm still waiting for them to release a HT healer, then the price would be firm.

The Jades bombed for a little bit but they shot back up pretty quick. They are so much fucking cooler though, srsly. If you've got that many nps to spend on a healer you may as well go all the way and get a Jade.

And I dunno. Certain types of medicine, yes. The peppermint medicine that does the same as Sporkle Syrup is super cheap.

If you have a shell with 50+ on it a lot of people get suspicious and are 'scared' to trade with you. It's good just to get around 200 avatars [which is piss easy with a SSer] on your main account and then you look much more decent so everyone doesn't suspect things.

I think they will rise for collector purpose rather than practicalbility.
And I doubt they will retire anytime soon.
TNT dont give a rats arse about the BD to come up with new innovations.
Icons, theya re what they are.
If they do retire, there will be new weapons thats released to replace them

does retired mean that they no longer produce the item at shops? meaning that the current number in existence never changes?

if that's the case, food and books probably get replaced in some sort of cycle to prevent them from running out and to keep a certain number in circulation , which regulates prices . so i dont think they'll become too much more expensive if retired.

very much agreed, that basically sums it up. but also like said earlier, bd items really aren't going to retire anytime soon, but i think the point of this board was to see which ones we guess might retire soon? like in relation to how long theyve been released and generally how long the things stay i circulation?

How long they've been released means nothing. The Fyora mirror thing [not sure what the correct name is] was released and then retired a lot sooner than other items were.

Well the last lot of items they retired were very low rarity ones and some of those shot up a lot.

Well even if you do post on the boards you have a bunch of default ones to choose from. And you would probably look cooler using the default ones because like NO ONE does haha.
