TYPICAL GUY'S ATTEMPT TO IRON rotflmto

Excuse me. While I may never iron if there is a woman within the vicinity, there has been one or two times I needed to make a shirt look clean when it wasn't, and was forced to iron my shirt. I never once burned it.

Men may not do these tasks naturally, but we will succeed if we ever have the need to do them. They are such minor tasks that we offload them to the inferior gender.

The man is right- I prefer not to iron, but if I must it is easy. Just don't let the iron sit in one spot- Tada! No burns.

So, I just read the first 2 pages of this and then skipped to the last and you're talking about ironing now :o
Very manly, I'm guessing someone said guys can't get simple tasks done that are normally done by women?

Hit it on the head there

My boyfriend has no qualms about doing the laundry.
Except he doesnt do it right so I've learned to stop asking.
Theres always mass amounts of tobacco in his pockets and it gets under my nails so I force him to empty his pockets for me.
And it takes him forever to do the dishes so i just do it myself.
the thought is appreciated, but as a woman, I do these tasks much better.

This is a classic maneuver. If there's something you don't want to do and you get asked to do it, there are a few options.

    1. Do it well and efficiently:
Result: It gets done quickly, but you WILL be asked to do it again
    2. Do it all wrong and take forever
Result: This is a greater up front time investment, but eventually you will no longer be asked to do said task unless absolutely necessary.

This is a great ploy that I used on my parents when I was younger and will continue to use in my day to day life.
