that's quite untrue. i do like what you do. it's just that you guys are overprotective of it, and go "it has no faults, it's the best"

Well everything has faults but for most people Abrosia does what they need and if there's anything which it lacks then we can add it, we already have a list of things we plan to do this summer and that includes improvements to Abrosia and the Item Database.
And compared with most other autobuyers it actually is superior for most people, it just depends on what the individual wants out of their autobuyer. For some people there could be a different autobuyer out there which is more suited to their needs, that's why we try to give as many options as we can to try to make it suitable for as many people as possible.
You can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

If you have any suggestions for features then make a post about it and it might get added.

yes, i do agree what you're saying, and yes, the database feature is awesome. but i just didnt like how my suggestion of adding in refresher accounts, to make the ABer better was just put down, cause according to some people, having refresher accounts just increase your chances of getting iced. which is just plain stupid on it's own. if we were to follow what they say, then Abrosia should disallow ABing in magic for more than half an hour, not allow refresh rates below 3 seconds, and prevent people from ABing for longer at 2 hours at one shot.
My point is, an ABer is supposed to come with features that people can select which options they want to use, what timings to use for auto haggle, delay before loading the page and stuff. The excitement from ABing, is not only making a profit, but the toggling to find the perfect combination of settings to remain freeze-free as long as possible.
while it's true that you cant please everybody, adding in additional features that can be used upon selection would please a majority, while a minority would say that it slows down the ABer. I'd think that it would just be a small difference, in speed-wise.

You have to understand that it's still very early in the development of Abrosia (we're only on v1.0.4) and our main aim was just to get the autobuyer working in sync with the database (which I think we've done quite well so far). Over the summer we effectively started the site from scratch and that means that all the programs and things like the Item Database were developed from nothing in just a few months. We had to focus on releasing initial versions of things first and then refine those things later on.
Things like additional refresher accounts which wouldn't be used by many people we would class as a non-essential function and so wasn't considered necessary for the initial development of Abrosia but that doesn't mean it won't be added later on. I personally wouldn't use anything like that but if enough people want it added as a feature then it might get added.
There wouldn't be much point in us just putting all of our time into the autobuyer, we've got lots of other things under development at the moment and a few things which we hope to release this week.

Using multiple accounts on neopets right after one another from the same IP address is retarded. Excuse us for not wanting to rush adding in an retarded option.
I can ab in magic for hours without getting banned, so obviously thats not an issue. But using multiple accounts is a GUARANTEED BAN.

How are you not banned yet?
Seriously, you are a complete dick.
The reason arthritis has not been banned yet is because he hasn't done anything wrong. Voicing your opinion regarding our tools, applications and other utilities is not against the rules - it's actually encouraged.
If you, arthritis, or anyone else believe that there is a better way to do something or believe there is a way to improve Abrosia or the item database, feel free to send a mail or PM to a programmer, administrator or moderator.
Don't derail a thread with your opinion.

yeah thanks. guess that's the best way to go, to prevent unrelated people add in their unwanted feedback on my opinions.

then add in proxy support? why do you take a suggestion just at face value, and then hit the wrongly perceived idea down.
do it. prove it. show it. i'd like to see you AB there reasonably, getting items too.
i'll be waiting
