What's good every body :)

So here's the deal: My '96 Chevy Cavalier's transmission up and broke on me the other day... and now I need a new car!
But here's the problem: I have shitty knowledge of cars. haha.

I figured I would leave it up to Codex to help me think of a sick new whip to get :D I got about $9,000 to blow... what make/model/year car should I get?

....I would suggest that you purchase a used car around 6k and get it fixed up from there, make and model don't really matter, older cars have easier engines to work on and are less likely to break completely if something goes wrong

yeah id invest 50% to 75% in the car, and the rest in fixing the car up

what kinda cars do you like

i have a blazer because i like the room, and i got a huge system in the back which the room is also great for...it also makes me feel safe and secure

i used to have an integra also, which i loved...it was a 97, and i was really into imports at the tiem

You should get an older style standard dodge charger. VS the R/T and SR/T it only has 6 cylinders, so it won't eat away at you in gas if you don't want to spend a lot in the long run either. With only 6 cylinders the dodge does good for your gas. Mine has 8 cylinders, all of which I like to fire up. When I drive the speed limit I get about 18 mpg. When I fire it up...about 10. O_o. No joke. He's a beast.

But I digress, that's my R/T, not a standard charger. So, good with gas, and if you get a '06,'07, or an '08 you could find one used between 6 and 9 grand if you look around for a couple months. Dodge's are (in my experience and opinion) good, reliable cars and trucks that won't give you a bunch of hell, and will let everyone else on the road know you're pretty effin' serious.

But...if you just want a regular cars...I hear Toyota Camry's last FOREVER. My mom has one that's actually outlived it's owner. O_o
