I'm noticing a lot of effortless sigs, and a lot that look like some heart was put into it.

What exactly is the point of an image signature, and should I bother making one?

Also, who's sigs do you guys like the best? I am personally very fond of iArgue's. It's pimp and loud.

idk the point, other than maybe like an avatar, just a way you identify people

something people can put time into and create something neat...i have made sigs for other forums, just not this one, as i am using a banner from my favorite band as my sig

That's cool. I like making graphics, and I'm not horrible at it...but I'm also a really busy person and I'm just not sure an image is worth the effort versus just my name I think I might make one anyway though...just so I don't feel like a loser lol

They're the biggest amount of art we want to see every time a person posts. I keep mine for tradition's sake, same as my avatar. But some people change theirs daily.

I think signatures are a great addition to forums, its a way to express yourself like the clothes you wear to school or work. But they should definitely be limited in terms of height .
