Just returned from my adventure and spent 16 hours in a car driving home last night and my legs are so fucking rooted.

How about you guys, what's the longest?

In a car, over 24 hours from southern California to Idaho, it was only so long because we had to take breaks for the dog. I was cramped with 2 other people and my dog and 2 cats in a small Nissan Frontier. It was windy, and snowy, and we went through creepy towns the entire way.
I took the same trip not too long ago and it only took like 18 hours though.

On a bus, ughhhhhh from Utah to Southern California with a stop in Vegas, only 10 hours. But it was horrible! I was all bloody and fucked up and had gotten thrown on the fucking bus. Such bullshit. I met some nice people though, a professional skateboarder with a pregnant girlfriend who was trying to rush home, a really gorgeous musician who lives in hollywood, and some wierd runaway girl who had the worst munchies.
You met really strange people traveling, I like to take random bus trips just to see who i meet though.

They totally all started talking to me. I met the girl first, she sat down next to me and was all 'you look like someone who could use some food', and started giving me oreos and poptarts. she was so high off her ass. Then the skateboarder was sitting behind me and i guess he could hear my music and started talking to me about what bands he liked, then on the layover in Vegas the Musician was asking if I was ok (apparently I had blood all over my neck and stuff) and then he was being all nice and found out we were riding the same bus. When we got to the depot, he gave me his number and he use to text me all the time. then my phone got shut off. :( I wonder what he's up to

and you take food from dodgy people on a bus? ._. smooth

melchoire D: do you fly when you travel, or just don't travel much?

The girl was young, too young to be able to plan out giving me some bad food. I saw her eat it first anyways, lol.

All my friends hitchike random places, I know 2 are in Iowa right now trying to get to New York and another just got back from Oregon.
Has anyone ever tried hitchiking far away?
I've never had the balls to hitchike any farther than like, 25 miles. I live by the biggest US marine base though so only marines ever pick me up D: they always talk about American Idol ahaha.

While I was driving, probably 4 hours. While stuck in a car, probably 10 to 12. From central Canada to the west. I can't stand driving for long periods of time, and thank god for taking turns.

I can't imagine spending 20+ hours on a bus, must be brutal.

Just finished driving from San Francisco to Cincinnati. One day drove for 14 hours, only stopping for gas. This may not seem bad, but after 4 days and 2,800 miles you just want to die.

10 hour trip around Australia like 8 years ago.

I rarely drive around for long without taking breaks in between, some of which involve sleeping.

it was almost 2 years ago so all I remember is that his first name was Corey, he was pretty tan, had dark hair and he was wearing really nice Globes.
My ex-bf knew who he was though and had showed me some clips of him skating, I'd ask him the names but you know, the whole 'ex' thing means I will never voluntarily talk to him again.
Oh, in one of the videos there was a black kid that looked like a microphone. I remember that part. It was hilarious.

My longest driving trip, about 50 hours. Went from Vancouver to Halifax, Nova Scotia.
    Luckily, I was the passenger.

And my longest bus ride was from Florida to Alberta, Canada.
That took like 3 days. It was so long.

Longest flight, only about 5 hours...but I was flying the plane by myself, so it took a lot out of me.
