The HD2 is the new one, I dont think it has the same diamond shape back as the Diamond 2.

Yeh provider is a thing for me too, but in the UK, and most providers offer the phones im after.

I played with the samsung H1 and hated it.

Just checking but is the HTC HD2 the diamond? Looks kinda hot.

Cant find the droid anywhere :(

Don't get the HD2. As good as it is spec-wise, it is Windows Mobile, boo! Get the HTC Desire:

I'm biased, as I love the Android platform and the build quality/customer service of HTC. So I would say the Desire, plus it's rather powerful too! 1ghz processor, 5mp camera, WiFi (for use in MaccyD's and Starbucks) instead of wasting the data plans etc.

I have to admit the desire does look like a very sexy beast...and the specs are pretty impressive too.

The Evo (rumored as the Supersonic) has the much-loved 4.3-inch screen (480x800 TFT LCD), and 1GHz Snapdragon processor of the of the HTC Touch HD2. But while not even HTC's Sense UI skin could save that phone from its WinMo 6.5 underpinnings, Evo will run on the much sleeker Android 2.1. It'll be one of the first US phones to sport the latest and greatest Android OS, although Kat's already fully endorsed the 2.1 and Sense combo that runs HTC Legend in Europe. It also steps up the camera from 5MP to 8MP. Also: a front-facing camera 1.3MP camera capable of HD video recording.

i hadnt seen this before my last post. but i have to agree completely. you can jailbreak the iphone, but that voids any wrranty you have. also, you can't get any maintenance from the apple stores if you JB the IPhone

    1. It can't void your warranty. Just restore in iTunes and every single piece of accessible evidence is gone for good.

    2. It doesn't matter if you Jailbreak your iPhone or not. Look at 1 or just watch them do backup and restore anyways if it is a software problem you want them to fix.
