This is my favorite vice. Smooking hookah feels so much different and better than cigarettes. cigars, and anything else I have tried. If any of you smoke and haven't tried hookah, I would recommend it highly. For a heavier smoke try apple or grape or for a smoother smoke try mint

Isn't hookah just a type of instrument to smoke out of? What is it your are smoking out of the hookah? (If hookah is some type of slang its going over my head, sorry).

Well generally we use shisha tobacco, which is tobacco covered in flavored molasses. You can also smoke weed and other things if you choose to.

yea its all right..I do it occasionally...but a 1 hr session is like 10 cigs...kind abad for you..but it is a different high.

I'm watching my husband's aunt going thru chemo and radiation for lung cancer. I saw an uncle die from lung cancer. My grandmother died from lung cancer. ALL were smokers.

So any kind of smoking is bad IMO, no matter how 'trendy' it is.

Man, hookah is great and I'm not even a smoker; I've tried smoking cigarettes in the past but I kept getting sinus infections from them so I said screw it, it's not worth it.

But hookah is different, the smoke is lighter and not harsh like cigarettes are.

My buddy was stationed in Iraq and bought a really nice hookah for a couple hundred bucks; its a beast with two hoses and gold set in it. He brought it out at another friend's deployment party- first time I ever smoked hookah. We had Coca-Cola flavored shisha. Very nice.


Another friend of ours at the party who never smoked anything (not even a cigarette) tried it as well. Pretty soon he was taking the deepest hits out of all of us, despite us warning him not to. But his ego got the best of him and he payed for it the next day; he couldn't even talk his throat was so sore. We all had a good laugh about it later though.

Hookah is great..the bowl is so huge though. I like to mix the shisha with a bit of something else to make it last longer and make it a little more fun xD


Update: Had an amazing smokefest on 4/20 with a friend's hookah at his house..probably the best 4/20 I've had in years.
