that's why i hate resellers for example

    TP Disco Shoryu 1mil
    MP 800k

    There offer 600k LMFAO

    I think that's a very fair offer.

I tried reselling once... made a couple of million but I don't think it's worth it. Some people don't realise that with items like unpopular rare morphing potions, prices can drop like hell. I bought a purple morphin potion for 600k, when the TP was 1mil. I couldn't be bothered selling it until about two weeks later, and when I checked the TP price was about 600k. I had to sell it for 400k. Disco is a pretty cheap MP, and shoyrus are creatable. I bet 1 mil is an inflated price.

This is actually true. Prices get driven down incredibly easy, most likely due to all the artificial inflation. I myself often just end up putting something into my shop at 99999 if I get into one to many lowering battles in TP. It's just not worth it.

Sometimes even THEN it doesn't get sold :| That's why I didn't think reselling was worth the effort.

Yeah, another good point. I for one am entirely too lazy to try and go through all that.

but being a reseller would get tedious to being rejected 24.7 for lowballing

I don't bother putting prices on my TP lots to avoid lowering battles. I just say neomail me an offer (will go lower than TP)

Decent idea. It all comes down to lazyness though. I don't even feel like dealing with people through neomail, ha.

Again, it's a patient man's game. Plus vast knowledge of item prices always helps!

The database is dead wrong on a lot of the higher priced UBs.
If I went by it all the time I'd never be able to sell anything because of overpricing.

I only use the database a guide to price my items and to know which offers to accept. I am certainly aware that the higher priced UBs are overpriced.

Well, reselling isn't super hard but it's smart and you gain profit so I say more power to them. It's a great way to gain NP. Besides, we're on a Neopets cheating forum..does it get any more noobish than that?

I was thinking exactly that, we are on a neopets cheating forum, pretty noobish if you ask me.

I am a resseler on neopets, and I "lowball" many users.

If it's 10 junk items (or any junk items) and a low amount of NPs and you do it to me, prepare to get reported. ESPECIALLY if it's on a bulk lot. You have been warned.

There's also a bunch of people that seem to ignore the "k" on your price tag.

Like I put up a baby paint brush for 590k and they offer me 590np  :x3:

    pretty much this

even if they're not English how many times do they need to see 'k' before going 'oh that means an extra three zeros!'

o__O Is this for real? Is there a consequences of submitting too many reports a day or something? lol

I like to go look up their trades to see if they have prices in any of them, and just do the same thing back
