I'm mystified as to how they get away with stuff like this. You crazy Americans.

Fox news is a propoganda machine and not a news channel - I can get a better sense of reality watching South Park.

I am also a conservative - but I just find Fox mind numbing. My favorite news show is Jon Stewart. Even being conservative I can relate to him more because his arguments make sense and his comedy is on point.

    I love the Onion.

When I was in 7th grade, I never did understand what my teacher meant when she said that its from the Onion.

    Me: OMG HE DIED?
    Teacher: Its from the Onion
    Me: SO HE DIED?
    Teacher: The Onion!
    Me: SO HE DIED?
Teacher: THE ONION IS A FAKE NEWSPAPER
    Me: ...
    Me: ?
    Me: SO HE DIED?

Fox is so blatantly biased, it's unreal. I state this not having watched very many other American news outlets though, so I'm not sure what the norm is. :p

My sources of news are the BBC, Reuters, CBC and CTV. The first two are known globally for trying to eliminate any bias present in the news (notice I said 'trying', since you can't really have 100% unbiased news), and the last two are Canadian networks that I don't think have any apparent bias. :p

I'm glad Reuters doesn't allow stakeholders to have more than a 15% vested interest in the company. Rupert Murdoch (the guy whose corporation is behind Fox News) owns 15% of Reuters but would own more of it, had it not been for this. Then who knows what things would be like. :/

Do you prefer jon stewart or colbert? Some times I find colbert goes a little too far into his egotistical / off the wall jokes and I don't really find him that funny but his high peaks are hilarious. Jon Stewart consistently delivers humor.

I actually have mad respect for Fox News. Atleast the fucking tell the truth.

YES. YOU WILL GO TO JAIL IF YOU DONT FUCKING HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE.

IF you get fined by the government, and you dont pay your finds, you can spend time in jail. Do you not grasp that concenpt. Is that too hard for people to understand?

You cant just ignore the government fine and they wont do anything... People go to jail all the time for not paying taxes.

Which would make Fox news right in like 100 of the videos, and wrong in one of them (And in that same video the government was lieing as well).

Who cares if Fox News is stupid, atleast they are not worshiping Obama for being a fucking moron.

I like both..Colbert has his littler personality, that's why his show is a bit different. He's just playing that role.

It's not the norm. Most conservatives would tell you the other news outlets are drinking Obama's Kool-Aid, but that's only because compared to the shit flinging they do on the Anti-Administration channel, it does look like everyone else LOVES Obama. But they don't. They criticsize him all the time on NBC and ABC, but because they aren't being hateful, disrespectful, cryng on air, or using catchphrases, the message doesn't get through to those of us with thicker skulls.

"Who cares if what they say is true or not, as long as they oppose the guy I don't like!"

That's pretty much the vibe I get from most of the people who regularly watch Fox News. It's not something I love about people, but as long as the messages Fox pounds into the ass of everyone who watches doesn't cause them to blow up a federal building with a small plane, or kill a doctor who performs abortions, then I find little harm in the ideology.

As for the Daily Show and Colbert: I stopped watching the Daily Show once Colbert left. From what I can tell, it's all dick and shit humor now, which I can only take so much of. I find Colbert to be a little more creative and funny.

The Daily Show and Colbert Report realized that they are viewed as a "reliable source of fake news." Their "fake news" is derived from sarcastic reporting, punch lines, and humorous fact interpretation, not pure opinions like a certain news show.

At least the Daily Show and Colbert Report UNDERVALUE their factual value, meanwhile FOXNews is claiming to run "fair and unbiased" programming, while running opinion pieces almost 24/7.

^This fact was recently tackled by The Daily Show.

And Punk: When you have humor, there will be dick and shit humor, but I don't recall seeing much of it in the past few months.

At which point, rather amusingly, the federal government becomes responsible for your healthcare.
