Anyone have any tips they could share on how you keep your non-legit accounts separate from your main? Is it just hopeless? Proxies seem like totally foreign land to me and I've never been able to find a system that works out for me. I'm just wondering if that's my only option and if I should suck it up and learn how to use them properly.

If you're not using a proxy you are not safe.

I would recommend read Georgina's guide. It was very helpful. Make sure your non legit accounts aren't on your IP and email.
Make transfers in a less obvious way. There was a guide about how to use HT items to transfer and that's what I do.

Haha I'll definitely take a look at the guide you suggested.. I've just been using my main for nearly everything legit or not, but I've made sure that my account is rather quiet most of the time and nothing suspicious goes on. Which in short means that I'm not making any profit. Thanks for the suggestions ^_^

I disagree, I've been autobuying for a long time without a proxy on one account without being iced.

I suggest not using sides except actual side accounts that you would willingly link and not make NPs on.

I've switched to one account and *knock on wood* it seems to be going pretty well.

I was frozen more times for "multiple accounts" than for "autobuying"... also a bunch of times for score sending.

I've made a bunch of Neofriends and interact with them relatively often. I play games legitly from time to time. I participate in site events. For all intents and purposes my account looks like an account that restocks and does other things as well... hopefully making me more safe :3

Beat me to it, but I went into more detail ;)

Be careful of abed or autobuying items on your main. I was frozen...but you have to be smart. I would say use a side to ab and main for legit one in awhile send items or np but be careful on how u do it. Waser and jcr said it best. Jude be careful of tnts "omniscient" freezing.

Well you are the master. But for me, I consider if you have a side and a main on the same IP and you are earning money on both and transferring stuff from one to the other regularly that seems unsafe, because you could get banned for both multiple account and AB.

The more accounts I have the harder it is to keep track of, and easier to get careless D: Would it be too conspicuous if I were to make a side (equipped with a proxy) and attempt to make it look as if it's just a regular neofriend to my main? Or is that basically the whole point of using a proxy? Just because sending profitable items and NPs from a random side account to my main seems suspicious even to myself. Or maybe that's just how it's done. Bear with me, I'm finally re-entering the world of Neopia and am once again clueless about how things work as of late.

I disagree, it's risky to use your main for autobuying but it looks far more legit. You will eventually get frozen from multi-accounting if you regularly interact the two accounts together. It's easier just to use your main. But it is also safer to proxy a side. Either way you will get caught out. I used my main for autobuying as well as 4 or 5 non proxied sides and one proxied side to autobuy on. I got caught for SS and only two accounts were iced. Then I got caught for selling NPs and everything was iced including the proxied side. I carried on like that for around 8 months and all that got me frozen was a dweeb from another site. This may sound ridiculous but I never kept many NPs on hand, everything I had was in items. I'd also use avvie items to transfer NPs between accounts or attach meowclops and other expensive petpets to pets and transfer them between accounts.

yea i quite agree with this. I'm coming to two months of ab-ing.. and my np on hand never cross 1million :S
And i have alot of items in safety deposit not sold.. Hopefully when i wash my hands off ab-ing, i am not iced..

I'm basically just leaning towards continuing on my main. In my personal experience, TNTs busted me for multiple accounts more quickly than they have for using programs, unless I've completely overdone it. It's been awhile though and things might have changed. I have absolutely no idea how to keep a small amount of NP, only because my knowledge of whats really valuable on neo has totally gone down the drain.. I try to avoid items completely 'cause I dunno what Im doing haha.

I don't know either. I've been stockpiling neopoints and it hasn't done me any harm *knock on wood*

its easy to keep your neopoint low...
do brain tree quest everyday. anything less than 100k, i will do it.
do snow faerie quest 10 times.. anything less than 30k, i will do it.

Make some collections.. keep those valuable collectable items and don't sell them.. this way u wont get rich..

Sell those low profit items and buy stock market, do dailies, train pet everyday..

run NP gen once every 2 days... im pretty sure you won't keep more than 1million neopoints. :D

I've only been frozen a couple of times, and that's out of pure carelessness. You sure your settings are low enough to be human-like? If you're still getting iced, maybe you should consider raising the delays. Just my 2cents.
