Geographically, no. As opposed to having your account frozen... well, I'm not sure I've ever heard of "greening" an account ;)

Yup, Eric the Red was an awesome chap (by all accounts).

He didn't discover Iceland, but he did discover Greenland. Being a clever bloke and wanting to bring in new business and status for himself he sold it (as we do on commericals etc now adays..) as a wonderfully lush and green land where people could go to live and trade.

It didn't really work and those who went there in the early stages of it's population tended to die rather quickly! But it did end up being a very strategic outpost and half way house for the Nordic voyages to the Americas.

Arg. Geek.

I, Kang, hereby acknowledge
the fact that I am a creature of high intelligence and by admitting such a fact I will
better prepare myself to learn the master arts of doppelganger-jutsu.

This statement is awesome

Not as awesome as someone not only attempting to quote the statement from the OP, but failing at it as well. I stand by my choice of signatures until someone else makes a fuck-up like that

Edit: Because I'm smart. Really

I take offense to this. I'm not illiterate; I just lack the attention span to read for extensive periods of time. Regardless, considering the fact that I haven't legitimately read since my junior year of high school, you have to admit that my linguistic skills are better than that of a high school dropout.
