I do not see Southern Vietnam on that list. They did not protest for a single second. We where the only people standing between them and damnation. While the rest of the world decries us, and hated us. They stood beside us and fought with us? Why. Becuase we where protecting their freedom. We were fighting for a cause that they belived in. We were fighting for their lives. You forget that. Did you live in Vietnam, did you see what it was like to be under their control? No. How can you judge us for a war you did not witness, and hate us for protecting someone that needed our cries. In my eyes, I will always see America as better then you, because we have always protected Freedom. You may hate us, and you may attack us. But if you were invaded today, then the country that would rescue you would be America. Even if we have some greedy scheme from a bunch of politians, we will still come and fight with you, and protect you when you need us most. I have read book after book published by soldiers of the Vietnam war. My Uncle and Grandfather both participated. The war in Vietnam had purpose. I asked them if they had a choice, would they have stayed out of the war. They said no. After see what it was like to be there, after seeing what was done to those people. They accepted that killing another person was worth that cause. Regardless of what philosphers have to say. What politicans and Nobel Peace Prize winners have to say. The people that fought. The people that actually knew what was happening, that lived through it every day. They do not decry the war. They shed blood for a reason, and for a cause. South Vietnam is still free today. What does that tell you? How is this losing? North Vietnam has no control over South Vietnam. Which would mean our objective was accomplished.

Feel free to protest the protection of innocent people. Show us how kind you are to their suffering. Hate us for going to Iraq, because my cousin said he would return in an instant. He knows what its like to live there, and he wants to protect the people from that kind of living. Regardless of our reasons for entering that country, the leader still gassed his own people, and still killed off factions of people. I see no failure. I see Southern Vietnam under their own control, with Northern Vietnam on the other side of a handy DMZ. That would of course not be victory in your eyes. See, the thing is. I went the the University of Idaho website, which is were she got the Degree from. Communications is not a degree that they offer... That is so weird. Look for yourself.. Obviously this means she earned it through a vigorous course that challenged her education.

Did you know that her Second term as Governor of Alaska resulted in a debt increase from 1 million, to 25 million. Wait! I forgot your an expert on american politics. They may have begun before America was formed but they also continued long after that point too. It took 90 years for America to abolish slavery after it had gained its independence, by that time even Britain had abolished slavery in its empire 30 years before...and the vast majority of the persecution which Native Americans faced was after American independence too so you can't really make the claim that they were vestiges of colonialism.

Do you not see the hypocrisy in your second statement? College means nothing as far as politics are concerned. The last 4 Presidents went to Harvard/Yale, yet we still call Barack and Bush idiots. You can purchase your way into the school, but you wont be able to purchase your degree. That's why Lee says assuming you will graduate. The drop out rate in schools is huge. You may have had money to start, but never assume you're going to finish. What happens if you get pregnant when you have a year left? You end up dropping out short of your degree to raise a child (or an abortion preferably). You may think it's easy to just say 'Ohh I'll give you 100,000 dollars to give me an 'A' in this class' but if you use the smart part of your brain, you'd realize how harder it is to do than to say. Don't condemn Palin just because she only has her one degree. At the end of the day, we only call her an idiot because we disagree with her views. Just like we call Barack an idiot because we disagree with his views. Just like Bush, etc. Do you really think that what we see on a national level is the only thing that politicians do? The whole reason we hate the President is because that's why the position was created. As a scapegoat.
