Does anyone else feel that shops stock far less often at night than they do in daytime/peak hours?

The 2 months prior to this one I've been ABing at night, and stopped for 2 weeks or so now, just picked it back up today at daytime.

But this is just a theory - I'm guessing this has something to do with the fact that more people online = more people buying stuff = more restocks? I haven't fully experienced the benefits of daytime ABing though, I'd always thought that if you AB during the day you'll miss all the good stuff. Is this why I'm making seriously lower profits than just about everyone here?

"Prime time" has been discussed on numerous occasions.

    More users = more restocks.

More users buying crap-profit items = higher quantity per restock.

So yes, you'll have less competition at night and have a better shot at that one big item, but by going during the late afternoon to evening time, you'll be more likely to pick up a bunch of smaller items.

Yeah, I experimented with this as well. It sucks, but it makes sense.

If you are on while using the ab just clear out your designated shop... works just as well if you do it often enough.

It's hard to synchronize back to neo when you're in Brazil, but I guess it's worse for other places. We are 4h ahead of NST time so I usually mess up with those late afternoon times which have more items showing.

I tend to RS during the day, but I should probably try out night time since there are more restocks....

Does it change for the summer since the kiddies are on summer vacation?

Oh dang, that's a good point!!! I would guess there would be more restocks since more people are active.....

Christmas times as well would be good, right?

Hmmmm.... so the users don't necessarily need to be restocking then?

December might be a good time to run ABers all day since people everywhere are always getting stuff from the advent calender.

What does the advent calendar have to do with abing?

I would think that since there are good prizes given out by the advent calender, there would be more people online during December. Not only that, but because of Christmas vacation for some, there would be more traffic as well. I would at least assume more people are on in December than the average day anyways. If more users = more stocks, then ABing would be better in December no?

Summer vacation would be way more people than in december, but that works too.

There's a quick graph for you, # of restocks per hour over a few days for the food shop.
