first of all, yes i know they're only available through the petpet lab.

i have a kookith already. i'm wondering if the petpet lab only changes just color? more often than not i find my petpet just changing species entirely. would i be better off leaving it be and zapping till i get a strawberry kookith or converting it back to a regular kookith then zapping it again the next day?

Better off taking off the petpet and going it for again. The chance of getting colour versus change is greater

Then again, other than one lucky Meowclops zap, my luck with the Petpet lab ray is extraordinarily bad...

Maybe you should start with an Altachuck.

I agree with PRBM, start with a cheap petpet and maybe it will turn into a kookith... it would be really sad if the ray disintegrated your kookith, I heard that happens sometimes...

Just buy something like a ghoti or a quetzal if you are zapping, you dont wanna lose 100k because your kookith disintegrates

Yeah, same here o.O I didn't know it can change just colour, I always thought it changes to a random petpet, meaning both species and colour change.
