Search Cybunny morphing potion in the trading post. Someone who's name is excalibur (then some numbers) has loads. Offer him 850k - 900k for his and you'll get it. I sell to him for 750k - 800k all the time.

Maraqua colours are worth 10+ mil if they are not the species that has the potions,

Pirate's 10+mil or whatever, too.
Zombie, Relic and Island are moderately expensive, as well... 5-8mil range I think.

So yeah. Anything under the price of the color you want is worth it.

As far as paint brushes go..

Pirate, Maraquan, Plushie, Faerie, Mystery Island, Zombie, Pink, Grey, Fire, Royal, Halloween, Darigan, Lost Desert,

Sometimes you can get a morphing potion cheaper for your pet as is the case with some of the maraquan colours
