Chinese also sound really nasally
There are over 50 dialects, most of them sound
annoying and ghetto as hell even to Chinese ppl.
I bet you can name one big dialect that everyone
commonly refers to as "Chinese" and that dialect is
annoying as a bitch...
---
Imo, by the way a language sounds...
Most neutral languages: English, Chinese
Best languages spoken by men: Italian, German, Russian
Best languages spoken by women: Japanese, Spanish
Personally I just don't like the way French
sounds, just got sounds that I cannot stand listening
to. Same goes for Korean.

Mon français est terrible.J'adore le francais. C'est pourquoi je l'etudie a l'universite. J'espere que je peux aller au France quelque jour.
(I'm more comfortable writing in French than speaking it because I tend to forget a ton of vocabulary. I'm fairly comfortable with the nuances of using the right accents, gender, form of verbs, etc..

Oh, and I have an intro to Japanese book. I don't really speak it, but I could look it up if I wanted to. The characters are what attracted me. I wanted to write in hiragana and katakana.
Also a bit of Gaeilge, or Irish. Just phrases really. Not the syntax. If there were Irish language movies or newspapers I would pick it up a lot easier.

Je peux parler/ecrire en français, et aussi en anglais (évidemment).
Mon français est terrible.Je l'etudie le français à l'école pour douze ans, mais j'ai oublié beaucoup de lui....

C'est pas vrai! Il y a eu un erreur, pas mal. Je fais les erreurs beaucoup de temps.
I love French. The writing makes sense, after I studied Spanish in high school. French is poetic, at least compared to the shit Spanish that Central Americans speak. Ugh. What an ugly tongue. And we used to give the Germans a bad name because they were always shouting. Nothing compared to Mexican Spanish.

I agree completely.

Yeah, that is exactly how I feel about Spanish.

Near enough fluent in French after 10 years of learning and doing a semester in Paris.
Fairly good at Spanish after 7 years learning it
Decent grasp of German, Italian and Latin, enough that I can understand most things but struggle to form it myself
Tiny bits of a few other things...Russian, Czech, Greek...I've done a lot of travelling in the past couple of years.

I'm a native Norwegian so I understand Danish and Swedish because they are so closely related. I think my English is pretty decent compared to my peers and I had German for 5 years but it's sehr schlecht. I also understand some fragments of Tagalog.
Awwww Jaf! Ive got the mega hots for this Norwegian guy in work!
Any tips on any phrases in norwegian that would get him going??

Chinese(Mandarin,ShangHainese,Cantonese) <-- that counts as 3 right? (I'm asian ^^)
Indonesian(Grandparents are from Jakata)
Japanese(Spent a year there)
That's six I think. Though my Japanese and Indonesian are slowly slipping away.

However, I'm trying to pick up/become fluent in French and Chinese.
Tu parle avec moi pour plus de practice?
(I'm pretty sure I said that wrong)
I haven't taken French for 3 years

you might want to train by talking to a native french speaker, bcz you're sentences don't really sound natural ^^
it's not incorrect but some things are just not said like that, there are better ways of saying it
i'm not trying to discourage you or anything, just saying that it might do you good to get a french penpal or so, or watch french movies
