Some update to systems I want to bring your attention to.
The Buried Treasure system now allows you to submit links describing the reward you got. Then everyone can vote saying whether it works or not.

Posted Image

I went through the status updates and pulled out ones that people had submitted. I didn't test them out yet otherwise I would have voted :p.

You can now submit the prize from the Daily Puzzle neoalert.
You can also submit answers to unknowns in the Faerie Crossword alert from the panel.

Lastly a question. I want to setup the Marrow Weight neoalert again but last time it didn't get so much use so I want to ask you guys how should I make it.

Last time it would randomly assign a number to each account (codex account) and then you put it in, if it works you click "report correct" otherwise you click "report incorrect". If someone reports a correct answer everyone is alerted again with the correct answer. We have a lot more members now so I think it would work out.

Another method we can do is. You pick a number put it into the neoaler panel and it will tell you if someone already tried it, if no one did then you try it on neopets and then come back and say correct/incorrect. What do you guys think?

    BOOBS...

In the starting page of the alerts, add it so that
the dark blue starts on the first tab, instead it being
added after you change a tab.

Might also make sense to move that button on the
very bottom or not use it at all, I thought the page
would save after I hit enable like AJAX or smthing.

Thansk ken for testing it out :)

Apparently the links may be random or they stick around for a day. We'll see how this goes :)

Yeah waster also brought that up with me. Im thinking of adding a on unload if the settings do not match ask them if they want to save or lose changes.

Thank you for all the work that all of you guys do :)

    I have a question:
You can also submit answers to unknowns in the Faerie Crossword alert from the panel.
^ Does NeoAlerts do this automatically or do we have to tell it to do it when the alert shows up?

Dunno if we have enough people, but it's worth a shot. I say we go for it.

This post is the internet equivalent of kids watching themselves dance in front of the security cameras at Wal-Mart.

Ugh, the douchebag kids who take gross pictures on the display digital cameras.
I swear, there is a 'closed elbow vagina' or 'mysterious sharpie dick on the palm' on every single one, every damn time!

Uh helloooo, i bet if you went to your local walmart/target/circuit city/anyplace w/ electronics, right this second and looked at the stored pictures on the cameras, you would find one of these. Its common knowledge. Were you not a kid recently?

You live in Canada, which is relatively savvy with the 'now'.
Do you ever leave the house...?
Or did you buy every electronic you own off Ebay or Amazon?
    Sheeeesh.

    DAMMIT.

If a person clicks in the general vicinity of the moving treasure, then the prize odds increase. The whole "working link" thing is a way of trying to verify if one of our people is in the right area. If you see a success rate >50% then we know we're in the right neighborhood.
