I'm having issues connecting to Neopets and Darkztar. Just started about an hour ago and I've tried everything I could think of. It works for my friend so I'm assuming it has something to do with my internet provider (RoadRunner).

"The server at www.neopets.com is taking too long to respond."

And

"Your request for http://www.neopets.com/market.phtml?type=till could not be fulfilled, because the connection to www.neopets.com (206.220.42.181) could not be established."

Are my error messages. It'd be pretty awesome if someone could help me out with this.

Thanks.

It could be a virus or try resetting your router. I know some viruses randomly block your most visited websites.

Try calling your internet provider if they black listed neopets. Other than that reset your modem. Run an antivirus scan. Thats prett much all you can do.

If it were a virus that blocked most visited websites, facebook and tumblr would be blocked, not darkztar.

Yeah.. Roadrunner must of done something. And it also has no chance of being a virus because I tried on 4 different computer. And I've also reset my router. 3 years ago the same thing happened to the AT&T users for neopets and worked again after a few days.. I looked it up.

It seems that for some bizarre reason, RR has Neopets blacklisted.

    The connection has timed out
The server at www.neopets.com is taking too long to respond.

Try using OpenDNS, it could be an issue with your ISP's DNS service (and even if it's not OpenDNS is better anyway :p).

If anyone else is having this problem, it has been resolved. It has been requested to be de-blacklisted and has been. (:
