If they drain all this money, just what exactly IS this going to do for the "Economy"?
If that is a dumb question, my apologies.
But if someone could explain this, that would be awesome (:

Ok, I don't understand the whole term about the "Neopian Economy"

Reduce inflation. More np into the economy devalues them.
Consider that the price of items have been skyrocketing as relative wealth grows. 10 years ago having 100k-1mil was ultra rich, now it's 100M-1B. This puts more and more items out of reach for the average player because np isn't any easier to earn than they were 10 years ago*.
*Most new np are created magically from games.

I still remember the days when 100k means you're rich and you can buy a lot of things, those were the days
Nowadays you can't even buy decent stuff with that money

a lot of money is leaving the system but i think the np is so deflated it won't make a difference, i think the donations will slow down, hopefully it works, but we'll see

I honestly just care about the possibility of an avatar, but have no clue how much you would have to donate to get it. Maybe you just have to donate once for every wheel.
I'll just do that. The background doesn't even move, it isn't worth 2.5 mil.

2 billion np is probably equal to the amount they created in flash games for the past 24 hours but I suppose it's better than nothing
meh at least they're trying right? maybe it'll help in the long run, who knows

But this is all to save the wheel of excitement right? So I'm assuming there will be a new set of donations required for prizes for the other wheels? This is going to be crazy. And I doubt I'll be able to afford to get the highest prize on every wheel =/

I'm gonna do it just in case there's an avatar.
If there is an avatar, it'll probably only go to those people who had donated over a certain amount (prolly 1 mill) OR WORSE- you'll have to be on the list of the top donators to actually get it. Part of me is hoping everyone who has donated will get an av, but nothing ever goes my way.

@Scot- How are you sure 2bil is what was created in flash games in the past 24 hours?

I'll be happy for them to do it over 1 mil as I'm already at that. Planning on getting all of the prizes for this wheel which will be about 5 or 6 in total I think?
I'm going to start having problems if the other wheels have prizes that require as many donations though =/
I don't want everyone whose donated a tiny amount to get it or practically everyone will have the avatar, and it will be practically a clickable.
