i never really thought it was that important

    I've heard that, when you're trying for the Kelp avatar, it's best to use your lightest pet. That's the only time I've heard of weight being relevant, though.

    There are people who spend ridiculous amounts making their Neopets fat.

    Pumpkin Negg gives +weight and -height
    BBQ Porkwich gives +weight
    Earth Faerie quests give +weight
