I've always had a small shop (currently, size 14), as I'm not usually able to RS more than 10 items/day (slow connection).
I tend to update prices every other day, but I'm still not very happy with my sales. So I'd like to know how you guys are managing your shops. :)

I run NeonAP 2-3 times a day because it helps me sell out fast. Some people try to compensate by using a low factor like .80 or .90 but in reality all you need to do is have the lowest price each time your item is searched. So an inflate factor of .99 but updated many times a day is better overall.

Isn't it a pain to update prices when there are many items in stock? How many prices do you make Neon AP look for, for 1 item? Mine is set to 4 and I get Wiz banned after 25-30 items.

I always wait until 50 minutes past the hour so if I get banned I can start again immediately past the :00 mark. And I find 6 different prices for more accuracy. That usually covers 60 different items but if i have more I might split it into 2 sessions, I price all items over 15k then ~2 hours later I price all items I didn't price before. Using this method I move my inventory very quickly to where if I stop restocking for a 2 days I would have nothing to sell.

i dont know what size my shop is. it holds like 55 items though. :p

I just do my prices when i get the item :/ and put it like 800nps-1000nps below shop wiz.

and then i pray that it sells. it works for the most part. but i always get stuck with a few items :/

i'm thinking i should start doing something similar to Scot. it may help me sell shit faster. Posted Image

To find out your shop size you need to divide the maximum no. of items by 5.
    e.g. 55/5 = 11, so you have a size 11 shop.

Scot, thanks for the very useful info. :)

Or, you know, look at your lookup, where it tells you how big your shop is.

I do something almost identical, except my Inflate factor is .95 and I make the AP find 7 prices.

I've a size 50 shop but I don't sell very much, probably around 20 items a day if I'm lucky but then again, I don't get much stuff ABing either so no plans for expansion

It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it.

I've just started using Abrosia so my shop's still pretty small. I figured it might look suspicious if I suddenly expanded it a lot.

My shop size is 15, but it's generally never full.
If some items don't sell within a day, i lower the prices a couple hundred NP's.

Mine is around 100 but I haven't had time to restock it. I usually don't bother to price the items unless they are good buys from ABing.

Mine's around size 50, but I regret upgrading it so much because I usually have at least 50 vacant spots.

Mine is size 40, and its almost full of items.

Im not planning to expand it until I start Using smaller profit minimums. But that won't be until I Reach 43,800,000 in the bank.

Once I do start using smaller Profit minimums, Im probably going to need a shop size of atleast 300-400.

Eventually, I want to get a shop size 1000.

Finally, I update my shop prices 2-3 times a day, sometimes more.

I've been aggressively pricing the items in my shop for the last few days or so during the time I've been taking ABrosia breaks (making it look like I'm 'on vacation' or whatever, I just know it's not good to be on 5-6 hours a day every day for months straight), I'm down to only 50 items left :o.

I hardly ever stock my shop, because I'm too lazy to price my items. When I do price them, its like five or six items at a time.I was part of a mall, I was forced to update weekly, so I'd search the items up on the SSW or SW and try to stay at least three prices over the shop wiz, still affordable, but may take a while to sell out.And I don't use any programs, as I don't like the thought of cheating.I wish neopets would add an auto pricer like subeta has, that way its authorized by neopets And not a cheat.

Size 40 is my shop and now I use it only to sell KQ prizes.

if you update your prices always to the minimum, i can guess your shop size is really small... since the items are sold quickly
i use a factor 1.01 because sometimes a person is sooo stupid as to price it really low and then my price adjusts to it and then i sell my item for a really low price :(
either way, if your shop is big enough, they visit your shop more regularly, right? so you're allowed to ask a little more. Sometimes you've got ppl that buy an extra item when they visit your shop, even though it wasn't what they were looking for
i reprice once a month, but only the items that are stocked for a month already. I don't have as much cash as many people here, but still enough so i can leave it stocked long enough
my shop size is 55 i think...

but 515 georgina... damn that's a really big shop! :o do you also restock manually?

On occasion, but usualy only on HPD or something. It was a mall so its allways got 1000+ items in over priced, and sells them slowly, so i got a good load of space to use for making a profit on the autobuys etc
