Hygiene thread.

Personal hygiene is a necessary part of living in public. We all know acne is a turn off. Never apologize for who you are, because you're stuck with what nature gives you, but if the solution is as easy as soap and water and 5 minutes a day scrubbing, why not?

So in this thread, we should discuss your daily, weekly, or hourly cleaning regimens. If you have some OCD shit, don't hesitate to post. I'm fascinated by ritual hand washers. Like multiple of three shits.

Go thread, go.

    Shower daily.
    Clean teeth twice daily.
Wash hands before cooking, after cooking, after using the toilet and after cleaning out my chickens.

    S'pretty much it.

Discussing personal hygiene seems a bit...personal.  Hm.

I go through phases where I am OCD about handwashing.  But I haven't had one in a while.  I think everyone who uses those antibacterial handgels all the time are a little silly.  Especially when they do it to their kids.  Kids needs to be exposed to some germs, ladies, or else they will be sick all the time.

I take showers when I'm bored, so sometimes I take up to three showers a day.  I don't wash my hair but once every two or three days, though, or else it gets too frizzy and I have enough trouble dealing with it as it is.

I brush my teeth at least once a day, but I don't floss.  I should floss.  Those of you who don't floss should floss.  Listen to your dentist.  You'll miss your teeth when they're gone.

    Well.... evidently :p

I was planning on keeping my own chickens so I can have an accessible source of cage free free range grass fed eggs. I was wondering what are the costs of keeping the chickens and feeding them an all natural diet (grass).

    More expensive than buying eggs.

Also, chickens shouldn't be fed a grass-only diet.

    Like multiple of three shits.

lol it must suck to be an OCD dump taker.

Anyway. I take a shower once every morning, except on Saturdays where I shower once in the morning and then again in the evening to get myself all smells good before a night of whoring. I always wash my hair first and work downward. It usually takes less than 10 minutes. I can wash my hair everyday because it's thin, flat, and oily and NEEDS to be washed everyday to avoid the vagrant-look.

I brush my teeth at least twice a day, morning and night, and then sometimes more if I've eaten something with onions or garlic. I rarely floss. I wash my face before I go to sleep. I'm fortunate enough to rarely get acne, but when I do, it's usually on my chin. Must be from all the times I stroke my invisable beard whilst pondering deep thoughts.

I wash my hands after using the restroom, and if I touch something that smells weird or is sticky. I enjoy coming out of the restroom with hands still damp from washing, touch my brother on the face, and say, "I DIDN'T WASH MY HANDS!".

I don't own chickens, but my neighbors do. They have a rooster as well. It is the most obnoxious creature.

Lately I've been trying to wash my hands very regularly since I work with food a lot, so I just get used to washing my hands all the time.

Shower daily, sometimes twice, and I brush my teeth twice a day. I always brush my teeth even if I"m drunk or get home at 5AM after work. I care about mah teeth

I don't floss though. I care about teeth. No gums. Pssh.

    Ooooooh joins in!

    *is smelly*

OK, I Bath daily (90% of the time, if im hungover ill skip a day lol) in the evenings usualy.

When I bath I exfoliate, and moisturise everytime...I have to do this, if i dont i get angry lol.

Hair is every other day as its not very oily, shampoo and conditioner, and then every couple of weeks a intensive hair mask.

Teeth the usualy morning and bed time scrub.

    Hand washing, lots.

Morning, before my first break at 10am at work, before my lunch at work, after my lunch at work, as soon as i get home, before i have dinner, and before i go to bed. And also, if sex occurs, after sex.

Yes lol, slightly OCD, but I work on a computer all day, THINK OF THE GERMS!

Oh right, I forgot a whole bunch there. makeup remover and toners etc to get rid of all that makeup leftover X_X Scrubbing is lovely aswell. I dont wear clothes more than a day either, except jeans ^^ One of the most hard things to get clean is pillow. Ofcourse you can clean the outside, but after a few months the actual pillows are disgusting. You do spend 6hrs a day on that thing.. drooling :p

I basically have to shower everyday. Strangely, I'm allergic to almost all deoderants and if I leave it on over night I'll wake up with a rash

So I have to shower every evening lest a rash, or being smelly :p

Following sage old British dental hygiene advice, I see.

Well, I suppose you shouldn't care if your teeth rot out.  Dental is covered under NHS anyway, isn't it?

In theory you can still find NHS dentists, but a lot switched to private a year or so back. Which probably won't help rid us of the "poor teeth" image.

I know that haha. But I would rather my chickens eat grass instead of grain since the quality of meat tends to better for grass fed animals I actually have a source for grass fed chicken eggs but they're like $5 a carton . . .

Yes, but it isn't GOOD for them to only eat grass. To eat grass along with a good diet is good, but not JUST grass. He is right, it isn't good for them. We have about 3500 chickens and about a hundred ducks so believe me.

Plus, if you only fed grass to your chickens.....you would be feeding a lot of grass. haha.

I shower twice daily. more if neccessary, ie; labor work during the day I shower afterwards and then before bed. I brush my teeth 5 times a day, after each meal or snack that I eat. When washing my hands I have to scrub them and wash them for at least 1.5 minutes, before and after going to the bathroom and before and after eating. And also wash my face twice a day. I wash my hair only once per day though. and once a week I will wash my hair with beer and then shampoo. I also change my socks and underwear twice a day, as needed. ie; long day at work, from sweating. And that about sums it up.

Shower once-twice a day depending on my activities, brush in them morning and at night. Clean my hands when I go to eat, finish on the John or finish wanking off my John.
