We just had some user PM others a link to their trade. I don't know if it is possible to put a CG in your trade ad but it looks real fishy. You guys judge, this was the PM he sent:

I've got some random UB's that I've gotten from the abandon attic through ab'ing
I would say they are pretty damn legit as I've been sitting on them for over two months - I am just too lazy to try to sell them
anyways - if you want them they are here

if not, post a link to a random trade and I can donate some np to you from my legit account

He's been banned but is it possible to CG via the trading post? I don't know but from the PM I just want to let you guys know it might be smart to avoid the TP right now too.

If TNT wasn't so bad at fixing things, they would have fixed this CG issue a long time ago. It's not that hard to stop XSS attacks. Now they're just putting all of their members (and ours) in danger unnecessarily.

Back when I first started playing, people were getting hacked through trades they were making. It's been done before and might be part of the recent upsurgence in Cging

My other concern would be that the account itself was CGed, and they're trying to spread out some of the scammed items (perhaps trying to diffuse some evidence?)

Wow, it IS getting worse, glad I'm on a temp Hiatus from Neopets. (I'm a member of multiple sites right now and with so much going on it's rare that I can even get online so I'm basically on hiatus for a temporary amount of time from ALL my favorite sites. Sorry codex *sniff*)

Apparently there are people cging and selling off the items they stole at dirt cheap price at TP a few hours ago. Trying to spread off the items they stole before TNT get to them?

yeah, i have no idea why they wont block outside links, theyve had enough problems already!
theres so many people on sides now claiming that their mains have been CG'd. Its hard to know who to beleive though, cause theres just so many

honestly i don't trust np right now. i pinned everything and turned my javascript on while playing which makes the experience rather...shit i decided to just not log on with anything other than the codex programs since i know those bring me no danger of CGers. i haven't actually logged into my account in about a week, i don't even know how many np i've made in the past 7 days, haven't done dailies, no games, nothing...it might make my account little suspicious but i'll take it over getting CGed

I run a the codex proggies then hop on firefox erase my cookies/history and deposit to bank... logout clear cookies... thats all ive been doing... and I seem to be alright

This CG problem is getting out of hand. I've even downloaded NoScript AND RequestPolicy to be safe. When I do Edna quests, I came across one CG shop that attempts to direct me to a CG site with "neopets" in its name. Not cool. As for the CG in trades, I don't understand how it can be possible. Someone in the forums proposed that it was an SQL injection or something along those lines. I dunno. It's getting out of hand :K
