Civilization Revolution is a great game if you're into RTS games to any capacity. Even if you're not, it's pretty streamlined and a good way to kill a couple hours. I haven't actually played the App version (I've got the Xbox 360 one), but I've heard good things about it. It's $6.99, but there's also a Lite Version you can try out.

Have you played the pc version?
Civ Rev is so dumbed down in comparison

Yes but no one likes calling it that.

This topic seems old to me for some reason...

And Pheonix Wright Ace Attorney is only 5 bucks on the iTouch. I would also recommend chronosgear but that game is buggy.

I second Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney. I played it on the DS and it was such a good game I'm pretty sure it's similar on the itouch.

It's basically the exact same thing but with a slightly different interface, the story line is the same. The last mission is different though, it doesn't require you to blow into your tiny ass built in mic on the DS which is great. I hope they port more of them over as phone apps so Phoenix will rise...in popularity :p

I doubt it, most of America doesn't like to read, and Phoenix Wright is basically an interactive Visual Novel.

Might be why Visual Novels aren't so popular here, apart from the nudity, and the sex, and the violence, and the....etc.

I don't know what game it's called but it's some fruit that flies in the screen and you're supposed to slice it. My friend has it and it's widely addicting. I stick to the free ones... I like Cash Cab. Posted Image

Yeah I was only hoping those games would become more popular. Maybe if Phoenix/Edgeworth showed up in a capcom vs game. I know what you're referring to ;) But that's why there are CG rips for the later :)

Fruit ninja? I don't get the point of that game. Most apps are free if you happen to have a jailbroken one and know how to find them cracked apps.

They wanted to do this, but the team was really lazy and didn't want to make a quick workaround for one of Phoenix's attacks, so they scrapped him from the game entirely.

Sad really, I would've bought the game if he was still included.

Sad, it would've been fun seeing him point his finger around yelling Objection! at other characters. At least there's that parallel with professor Layton that I won't get to play since it's on the overpriced 3DS.

I also agree with all those that said Angry Birds. Cut the Rope is my new addiction at the moment and is also free. The only other games I have on my iPhone are Solitaire and Shanghai Lite (Mahjong), which can be a bit repetitive.

I have tap tap xD I don't know how to jailbreak, and is kinda expensive if you go out and pay others to do it. Is too complicated :(

No... it isn't complicated. Depending on which iPod generation you have there are one-click jailbreak methods that are extremely easy to find. My 13 year old sister managed to jailbreak a few months back by just using Google. It isn't difficult in the least bit, and WELL worth it.

EDIT: My two most played games are Zenonia 1&2, and Tower Block Deluxe.OH, OH! And Plants vs. Zombies. :x3:

My iPhone is jailbroken at the moment and I'd really advise people against jailbreaking. May be that I've just had a bad experience but my phone freezes every couple of days and I have to reset. Normally when I'm lost and trying to find somebody (like in the supermarket last night).

It depends on how you jailbroke it. Mine's been working fine over the years but then again I refuse to upgrade it to 4.x...I don't need their buggy multitasking when backgrounder works fine.

Other than that have you tried just doing a restore and jailbreaking it clean?

Scoops is stupid. I don't understand the scoring system at all.

It's like...you stack up two or three+ of the same type of ice cream, and bring your multiplier up...

But then you get another scoop of a different flavor and it decreases it.

But if you drop a scoop, you lose points.

    WTF.

It doesn't stop me from playing it though! n_n

I personally spend a lot of my time either playing Monopoly, Fruit Ninja, Cribbage, Angry Birds,

Cut the Rope, COD Zombies, Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus, or Doodle Jump.

I've got a ton of others, but those are the ones that stick on my iPod when I switch up my apps.
