Okay, so, I've got a question- my girlfriend and I live together and use the same computer to play Neopets--- sometimes we leave my account up in Firefox or Chrome and she uses the other to play games on HER account, occasionally letting me take over and bump boards (I have been in the PC a lot lately trying to get our dreamies).

We both have the maximum number of accounts- she's more active on her sides (guilds and pet customizing and such) than I am on mine (just logging in to lodge pets, do a bit of chatting on the boards very occasionally on my oldest side)...

Will we get in trouble for being logged in at the same time? Is that something TNT frowns on?

Also, the other day I gifted her a Baby Paint Brush to paint her Elephante, and today gifted her another after she got an Invisible RE.
Is THAT frowned upon? Should I have "sold" it to her cheaply or somewhat?

She doesn't do anything sketchy, and the sketchiest thing I do is that I've sold a handful of SF codes--- but that's in no way tied to my account on there other than payment being sent there...
So I'm not worried about either of us doing "illegal" things as we don't, as much as I'd love to (haha, that Auto Buyer, man, it looks so lovely).

Mostly I'm just concerned about us being logged in at the same time, and me sending her PBs.
Do all computers on a wireless network have the same IP or is an IP address connected to individual computers?
If it's all computers on a network, then they probably don't know if I'm on the same computer or not.... but if it's individual computers, will that raise warning flags to them?
I've not put a terrible amount of work into my account, but I'd be pissed to lose it as I'm getting more and more into it.... and she's put a ton into ALL of her accounts, haha...

Unfortunate, you might get a ban hammer if it continues but its a user side error. Manage all your ten accounts wisely..Not TNTs fall if you get banned.

If it's per computer, we'll start being careful not to be logged in at the same time (I know TONS of people who share a single computer and all have sides and have whole families that play, so I'm fine with that risk factor).
If it's per wireless network rather than computer, then it probably won't matter, will it?

All computers on the same network will share the same IP on the internet. I'd suggest just sending a quick email to a Neopets staff member and ask them because only they know their policies when it comes to detecting and freezing multiple account users.

Try on your userlookup saying that you have two people playing neopets on one computer and stuff, and use different passwords for accounts.
I was once chain froze and all my accounts with the same pw was frozen, however, I keep my main a different pw and that kept it safe o-o
If you are really cautious about it, learn 2 proxy :3

Yeh tbh the damage is allready done.

I actuly doubt they would freeze you, just make sure you have it written on your prof that you share comps with family, and maybe drop them a mail, s'not the end of the world, loadsa neo accounts share ips.

If you wanted to start new accounts tho - proxies

As long as you aren't doing stuff to make money on two accounts and then sending ALL of it to one account you should be fine.

I play neopets with my roomate and we have lived together for, eh, like 2 years now and we've never gotten in trouble for it.

Thanks for the info, guys- we were really mostly just worried about the whole us being on the same comp thing- like I said, I've not put a lot of work in and I don't do too much... I keep most of my stuff on my account (except for, like I mentioned, when I gifted her the PB and whatnot) and she keeps all of hers on her main, and I don't even want anything so I never get gifts from her XD
We were just curious.
I think I will shoot a mail off to a staff member, though- I had contemplated but decided that sounded fishy, ahaha.

To be honest, when I moved in, neither of us even knew what a proxy was--- hell, I'm still not sure. I will definitely look into it, though- especially if I decide to be ~risque~ and don't want to compromise her, hahaha.
