I do believe in their existence... let's say, we dont know which thing is in fact an alien. We, as human, often get used to the things we know. We just imagine aliens as those who are in the figure of human (with head, limbs etc).

Who knows if aliens are a piece of dust on Earth?:o maybe it's just another life form. I once read a fiction, saying that some of the trees are aliens. It's just that human have no ideas about this. Well, there are legends of man-eating plants right?

Mars should give us enough reason to believe that there are other living things besides ourselves in the universe.

Honestly though, I am still up in the air on whether or not they've noticed us yet. There is some astounding evidence, just look at the recent O'Hare sighting. I just wish we had some absolute, definitive proof. like a dead alien or a broken ship or something. Until then, I'll always be a curious skeptic.

I don't believe in those green martian creatures so highly regarded by the media, but I do believe in some organisms, even micro-organisms thriving somewhere in our Universe.

Perhaps other organisms may exist, but as far as anything that would ever be any danger to earth or anything ridiculous like that, no.

If you insist I'll go look for something better.

wikiquotes found it pretty fast :p

" I think it would be a disaster. The extraterrestrials would probably be far in advance of us. The history of advanced races meeting more primitive people on this planet is not very happy, and they were the same species. I think we should keep our heads low."
From an appearance in the National Geographic Channel program Naked Science: Alien Contact, as quoted in The New York Times (24 November 2004) and a CNN transcript of an interview with Seth Shostak from Anderson Cooper 360 (26 November 2004)

    hawking is a disinformation operative.

anybody who claims anything negative about et's are full of it.

et's have extremely high ethics, to say the least.

    lets start becoming aware, people.

    some real information :

the first phase of Star Visitors appearing in a public way will be in globally-televised public press conferences alongside Human leaders, such as UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and US President Barack Obama, who would be de-facto introducing them, as well as sharing discussions which have taken place with Star Nations representatives.

Later on, as we Humans clear the Cabal out of positions of power and it is safe for the Star Visitors to circulate normally among common people, we will see more instances of such informal circulating occurring.

A third phase will be Star Visitors serving here as residential experts, such as Master Teachers, in learning centers specializing in cosmic knowledge, and in other special service posts, as these get set up.

How do you greet a Star Visitor? Telepathically. With respect and warmth. As a fellow brother and sister of the cosmos.

Review the (genuine) photos and drawings of Star Visitors. Get used to them and comfortable with the "odd" appearance of some of them. Familiarize yourself to the point where you would experience no shock if one such Star Visitor made an appearance in your house.

At that point you are ready to try on your "new" role as cosmic citizen.

If your not convinced, take it from this man who recently passed away.

I have just now learned that while I was gone, Colonel Wendelle Steven, US Air Force (ret.), a pioneer in breaking government secrecy about UFOs, died September 7. Wendelle was one of the White Hats, and a friend. Some of his accomplishments are these. Wendelle was a retired U.S.Air Force pilot-turned-UFO investigator and researcher. Stevens’ research began in 1946 when the Army Air Corps (predecessor to the Air Force) assigned Stevens to Wright Field as part of a large technical review program of captured Nazi air technical documents. Stevens was then assigned to Alaska during the time the United States began extensive surveillance and mapping missions of Alaska and the north polar regions, as part of Project Ptarmigan. During that time, Stevens had direct oversight of anomalous UFO sightings reports and film footage made by Air Force crews and shipped by daily courier to Washington. This began a lifelong interest for Stevens in uncovering the truth regarding UFO activity. Wendelle Stevens was actively involved in ufology for 54 years, first as Director of Investigations for the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization (APRO) in Tucson, Ariz., where he retired. He amassed one of the largest collections of UFO photos and investigated a number of contact cases, published in more than 22 books. His most famous one was the Billy Meier case in Switzerland. In 1997 he received an award for lifetime achievement at the First World UFO Forum in Brazilia, Brazil. He was a founder and Director of the International UFO Congress. Wendelle showed what a single courageous person could do to rip back the veil of UFO secrecy and operate outside the bounds of classified secrecy to let the public know what is going on right over their heads. We will miss you, Wendelle. May light beings gently guide you to that interim place of rest and reflection. I know you'll be back before long in a new reincarnation, and kicking obfuscating bureaucrat butt with a new set of shoes. I salute you, brave warrior!

    Based on what exactly?

If they're anything like humans then a scenario where they will butt hurt us like the old British Empire to it's colonies or something to that effect. To them we would seem primitive if they came from light years away with their fancy technology.

    There is no
evidence that what I quoted is false.

@faval: they have the capabilities to sustain themselves indefinitely and create their homes and ecosystems in other areas of the universe. there is no such thing as ET scavengers or pirates.

    think infinite energy. zero-point energy.

we are capable of this technology too.. i would be surprised if it's not already developed and in use by governments or the elite.

Most knowledgeable scientists agree that there is enough Zero Point Energy in a cup of empty space to boil the oceans away but tapping into that energy is the problem. Harnessing Zero Point Energy is a technological mine field. For example, the mere measurement of Zero Point Energy is akin to a person trying to measure a cup of water while 30 feet under water. Another analogy would be trying to tap the energy of a lightning bolt while riding inside of the lightning bolt. This is a technological nightmare but if or when these hurtles are conquered, our world will change. My only concern at that time would be who controlled such power.

Everything is circumstantial evidence at best since there has been no real contact with aliens. Based on facts on what we know right now, if any modern day civilization were to discover a uncivilized island/country/whatnot, they will be exploited one way or another. The same would be expected of visitors from outer space who would certainly see us as inferior if they have the technology just to get to Earth from wherever they came from.

Infinite energy/zero point energy kind of defies the laws of physics as we know it but maybe my feeble human mind can't comprehend such a thing and aliens can...anyway my point still stands, everything is circumstantial evidence at best.

There's no evidence that there's not a giant purple elephant sitting on the moon eating biscuits, either.
Doesn't make the proposition any less ridiculous, does it?

Also, zero-point energy is not what you think it is.
