Wooden spoon = a nomination for the old school codies.

The Codies were basically awards given to members of Codex, the wooden spoon was an award given to members who hadn't won anything from the categories (most helpful, best programmer etc) but people felt deserved an award. Basically its some pixels in return for the hour or so of organization you've done
