i'm trying to run the SS on my computer, it's been working awesome for about a month
but now it says "there is an update"
so i click "install update"
and it takes me to the website that used to be like steve something, where the scoresender i guess was posted
it doesn't exist

and i can't use the ss until i download this "update"
HELP?

Download the program again. You must have messed up the options. I have a few copies of SS, one of them seemed to have this bug, and when I switched to another one it worked fine.
PS: Use a GOOD list!! My accounts just got frozen a few minutes ago.

Maybe this program checks for updates and because there isn't a website for that anymore it it's confused?

Lineage sLAUGHTER's scoresender isn't working at the moment, it says there's a new update to download but his actual domain name for the host website has expired.

My accounts got frozen and apparently because of SSing (and they waited till September ended or is it just a coincidence?). I'm not sad. I'm just upset. I just found a map worth 90k legitly and now this happen. If only I had been frozen right after I SSed.

If you have bypass the "update now" you should be able to use the scoresender? I haven't tested, though, so I'm not sure.

It's probably saying there is an update because the version you are using does not match the version listed on the site (which is null because the domain has expired )

Yeahh I just tried to open the SS again and it just brought me the little 'update' box again. I don't get it because it's not like I reinstalled anything or whatever. So much for Korbat's Lab anytime soon ;____;

I found an older version, labelled 4.6.3 but make sure you update the encryption. I forgot to today, so now I have ~60k worth of games I "played" (it counted them on the Neopets website) and no neopoints to show for it. Maybe getting iced soon I think...

Yikes, best of luck in not getting iced.

I'll probably just wait until sLAUGHTER's SS gets fixed, I don't really like downloading programs from random places because obviously you don't know what else could be included in the download..

when I press the button saying update the encryption, it basically does nothing. I am not sure whether it's something wrong with my PC or not. actually what will happen after pressing update the encryption?

somebody told me that it's different in the sense that sLAGUHTER is safer than mobs. but to be frank I have no idea.
