Basically Boggart in effect yes but no lol :p

It is a dongle which has a phone simcard inside it i simply put say 5 quid on it and it enables me to search the internet for a period of time :D

Edited -Basically it enables me to take my internet with me everywhere when i take my laptop

Yeah, must be just that high tech that AB'ing on the way to work is no problem.

That actually sounds pretty neat.. I wouldn't mind finding something like that here in the U.S. actually.

I'm no IT specialist , but if I had one guess in order to save my life i would have to say there is a problem between your computer and your ISP. Possibly a virus or a firewall monitoring everything making it take a bit longer than it should.

That sounds about right to me.. I would run a virus/spyware scan asap. I would think something 'client-side' is uploading information from your computer to elsewhere. Whether that something is harmful or just a program updating I have no idea. Definitely check it out though.

Oh, and this thread is now a 'Show off/bitch about my internet speed!' thread. Which is cool. I haven't seen one of those around here yet.

    T__T I'm sure it's not a virus.
But it's most likely Norton then. I hope so anyways.

OMFG NORTON i'm telling you , if there is 1 antivirus software that wouldn't surprise me if they were actually working with all the hackers making virus it would be them. To me they are just an army of vermins crawling under your skin.

    :x3:

I wasn't going to bring it up, but I agree. Norton just isn't the way to go anymore especially with all the bloat-free options available for free now-days. Good luck uninstalling. I always had to reformat just to remove it completely.
