So as some of you may know, I lost my main acccount. Bla bla bla not a big deal, I'm basically over it already. However it got me thinking: what would it take for you to cry?

Personally, I rarely ever cry. From the ages 13-19 I've cried twice. And once was because my grandma died. Some people clearly cry a lot more (like everyday.... lol women) so what does / would it take to make you cry? Or are you man and never cry evar?

For me: death of a close family member, maybe an F on a course, or the loss of a limb or something. Or excruiating pain like getting kicked in the crotch fifty times by Chun-li. O.o Death of a friend probably couldn't make me cry. Seeing a puppy with only 3 legs does not make me want to cry (my sister cried when she saw that, but not when my grandma passed >_<). Losing my neopets account did not make me cry (xD)

I haven't cried in a long time either.
I guess it's easier being a kid and letting it all out on the spot whenever.

But I certainly wouldn't cry over games haha.

I'm afraid to say i'm one of those people who cry quite a lot. I don't think i'd cry over anything to do with games but anything sad to do with kids has me bawling!

It takes a lot to make me cry. I cry maybe once a year at most. Though I'd never cry over a game.

I hope my thread didn't upset you. :console:

I took a sociology class about Violence in the family. One of the topics we discussed was child abuse -- neglect, sexual, physical, emotional. Some stories we read, especially the book: "A Child called It" It made me feel sick and I actually cried over some of the chapters. It was intense. :x

Welp, im 18, Male, In college, and I will end up crying about... hmmm well too often to count. Call it being a bitch or w/e but its the truth. Most of the time its due to girl issues, they just love toying with my heart. But other than that, I will tend to cry at sad movies or sad stories (as long as i dont have to read them, i hate reading). But when it comes to video games, I will rage more than cry.

Haha, the thing with me is that I will just start yelling at my tv or my computer screen as if they could hear me, but obviously they cant.

I cry so easily. It doesn't take much to set me off but it's never about a game or something stupid like that. Rude comments about my physical appearance or something that is out of my control (eg. my lack of freedom) will upset me. I cry about boys too much.

I prefer crying as opposed to holding it all in.

This. Despite the fact that since my visit to the hospital, I've been a lot more level-headed and much more optimistic on... everything, sometimes things get overwhelming and I need to let it out.

    lmao!!

I cry when I'm frustrated and lose control of my anger. And then I feel such shame afterwards.

Although, once at work when we were asking for donations to Haiti, an old black man donated $100. I was like, "Yeah right, dude. Ha ha." but he was serious. I was stunned, and he told me he was located here after losing everything during Hurricane Katrina. The donations he received helped him get his life back on track and meant more to him than anyone could know, and he wanted to do the same for someone else. Usually I just roll my eyes at people's sob stories, but to my surprise, I started crying. And I felt such shame afterwards.

Also, just thinking about certain parts in "Edward Scissorhands" makes me cry. That is the most depressing and beautiful movie in the whole world.

It was sad, so you were laughing at it?

Is there a difference between tears and crying? Because I've been brought to tears through great amounts of physical pain in the past, but it hasn't necessarily made me cry.

There's only two instances where I remember crying in the past like, eight years: when I was diagnosed with Diabetes (I was 10, so I really let the waterworks flow then) and when my grandmother passed away about a year and a half ago. It wasn't when i heard she died or at the funeral, but I spoke at the funeral and afterward at the procession when everyone was saying ""how proud she would be of me" that really made me break down.

I have trouble expressing myself at times, so crying isn't a natural reaction for me.

Oh, I also cry when I'm frustrated or really angry.

This summer I went on a camping trip, and the leader of the trip had trouble paying attention to people when they were talking to him. Multiple times I had started telling him something and he'd respond to someone else, and completely zone me out. It always pissed me off, but never to the point of crying but one time I had enough of it and I freaked out, and pretty much stormed off crying. Kind of embarrassing, but I'd rather cry as opposed to yelling at him.

I used to cry a lot... like for stupid stuff. I used to cry when I watched "The Fox and the Hound", when the old lady dropped Todd (The fox) off at the game preserve. (It's sad dammit!)
My parents got divorced when I was 16, and that made me cry, and the only thing that's made me cry since then is getting into serious fights with my girlfriend.
I rage way to hard at games to cry. I've had kids leave MW2 games they were winning because I raged at them so hard.

Also, in second grade I got put into a private school, and every day, (EVERY DAY) when my mom dropped me off, I'd cry and say I was sick, because I hated my teacher. <_< I was an extremely wimpy little kid. And the time I broke my arm. (Wimpy little kid... :sarcasm:)
