Probably a version number error in the newly compiled abrosia :o

We'll see though, this error was reported on another thread too.

Oh no!!! looks like we'll all have to try our hand at RSing the old fashioned way! :sarcasm:

But admins will take care of you as far as your paid membership goes. Don't get your panties in a bunch :)

    :o oh look!

I'm pretty sure that is your fault.

I'm the only one that knows the procedure to compile Mac programs right now. :p I've been meaning to show the others but I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

So, the Mac version should still be 1.2.0 unless iargue did everything on his own somehow, lol.

You people are rude. I asked a legit question about the Abrosia program not working on a Mac and an appropriate answer is not "get a windows computer." I will NOT get a Windows computer just so I can run some program.

Seriously, you'd think some people would act more professionally and friendly on a forum like this. Spare me the shit on "o ppl on internet are supposed to be rude111" crap. If fucking Oreo12 had a Mac, Iargue wouldn't be acting like such a colossal douchebag and actually give a proper response Posted Image. Can someone professional, unbiased and polite please answer my question?

Please, could I get an actual answer why Abrosia does not work on my mac. I will not install Windows on my mac to make it run shit-tacular. A real response and acknowledgement would be greatly appreciated. :/

LOL the gif. I can give more examples if I feel like stalking the forums on how many guys treat the other girls better on these forums based on their looks.
I should've just made a new account and stolen a hot girl's picture from Myspace or Facebook. Then I'd get some actual service around here.

FYI, I am paying for YOUR programs to use. It's a waste of MY money if I don't even get to use Abrosia. The only reason why I bought it because Abrosia was the only program that worked on Mac... and now you're not even going to bother fixing it?

If you're not I want my money back because this is ridiculous. I can't even enjoy what I paid for.

I have never denied helping someone based upon how "hot" they are (Or Noit wouldn't get any help from me). I would certainly love to help you, or even respond to you problem. Sadly, I do not know anything about Mac based computers, and since 99% of the forum uses Windows, I tend to focus on their needs first, since they outnumber you. I cannot help everyone at once. Now. If you had read the topic, both me and ShadowLink64 have spoken on the problem with Abrosia not working on a Mac anymore. At this point there is nothing else that I can do to help you and you have to wait for ShadowLink64 to program an update.

A paying customer or not, does not give you an excuse to ignore us when we provide answers. Please read the topic before you file a complaint and save all of us alot of trouble. My suggestion to get a Windows computer still stands, as it will prevent any of these problems from occurring in the future. Its the only option I currently have for you. Sorry.

How would you feel if you paid for a program that was supposed to do what it told you to, then suddenly it doesn't work.
Or how about if you played WoW and all the sudden it doesn't work on your computer for whatever reason -- say you still have Windows XP and Blizzard just decided that LOLOL we're not gonna let WoW be compatible on XP? Or just something along that lines of that analogy. You'd be pissed off too -- and I know a lot of people who would be too. :|

You are not paying for Abrosia. The only thing that you pay us for is to have Advanced Member as your title. Nothing else. Abrosia is provided to everyone free of charge.

And XP is used by 93% of all computers in the world. Mac OSX is used by less then 5%. There is a slight difference there.

Yikes. Just for the record, you'll get much better service if you message me directly about the issue instead of posting in a non-support area. :p

I'm compiling a new version and you'll get a 3-day extension on your advanced membership.

I can fix anything windows related :p. I uploaded a fix, and didn't move the version number on the site to 1.2.2, took like 1 second to fix :p

I've been spending the last two hours trying to get the Mac version of Abrosia working. Needless to say I'm quite unhappy, especially since I'm right in the middle of midterms. <_<

I'll have it up soon. I hope.

    -----------
Mac version up. Please test to make sure it works -- I can't be arsed to take more time away from sleep and stuff to get this working. I'm tired and upset by my experience getting this version up, lol. <_<

Yes, it says v1.2.1 in the file name, but it is the correct version. I also can't be arsed to fix that right now. Mac users, please message me if you experienced unwanted downtime. And don't worry, I can check if you're running the Mac version. :p

Thank you so much for getting everything back up.
I uninstalled/reinstalled and was able to log in and have the Mac version running now.

Good luck on your midterms also! (: (:
