Ahah I tend to sing out loud (not very quietly either) to the song I'm listening to when I'm walking and think I'm alone. But of course since I've got my music playing full blast on my headphones I never notice people behind me.

I try my hardest not to sing but just lip sync along with a song.. otherwise I may be singing completely out of tune and I'd just end up embarrassing myself.

PROTIP: Take one headphone out when singing so you can hear yourself properly

But it's such a mood killer having only 1 headphone in. I usually just look around to see if anyone's there. If it's clear, it's go time.

Many artists are too lazy to make effective use of stereo sound, so the experience is almost identical. I listen to one headphone at work all day because I need to be able to hear shit in my other ear :p

Just saying that if you want ear devices AND singing on-key, one headphone is the way to go ^_^

But sometimes the songs are played through different headphones ie:

You will be listening to the lead singer through the right headphone while you hear the backup singers through the left headphone.

Key word in my statement: Most

Yes there are songs in my playlist that actually use stereo to enhance the experience, but for the most part the experience is identical.

For me it's definitely not. I remember when my iTouch jack broke, so it would only make one earbud work. The headphones themselves were fine, they worked perfectly in everything else, but as soon as I put them in my iTouch only one would work and it was so hard to concentrate on my art in art class with only one earbud. It just doesn't work for me. It doesn't feel the same unfortunately. :(

Actually many would be considered a lot while most means more than half of the whole. edit: I was just easing jcrboy about saying most when he wrote many. But back on topic these headphones are awesome. They even double as earmuffs. xD

..when you're walking down the street blaring your favourite music? I'll be on my way to school, listening to some of Eminem's intense old songs and I'll feel like the coolest person in the world. It's kind of like no one can stop me. Oh yeah. I could step in a giant pile of shit and still play it cool just because there isn't that awkward silence following me around.

When I go somewhere without my iPhone,I feel completely naked and insecure. I feel much safer and more confident when listening to music and if someone's staring at me I wouldn't get an anxiety attack the way I didn't have my ear buds in.

I'm highly dependent on music. Without it I feel super uncomfortable. Maybe that's just me.
    Discuss bitches.

you feel that way, but in reality everyone just thinks you're a douche who blasts his crappy music way too loud. assuming you can hear it through the headphones. the most hilarious situations are when you're the one guy in the computer lab with his ipod turned up way too loud, and the song is like, kelly clarkson, and the whole lab can hear it. true story.

Where I work, there's heavy machinery and shit, so it's either one earbud or nothing... oh, or constantly risking death... I guess that's an option, too.

Contrary to some of the habits mentioned I find it difficult to concentrate on my work with music on Posted Image Headphones are annoying and I would very much prefer inner earphones; they are awesome. And when I have them on I would normally sing my favorite songs out loud... enough for me to hear myself lol.

lol if by that you mean, was i sitting in the computer lab while some guy in the row over was obliviously blasting girl music through his headphones and everyone was sneaking looks at him, then yes. yes it did.

i've also seen "that guy who walks down the street listening to his ipod (on low volume) while mouthing the lyrics and bobbing his head". it doesn't look cool if no one else can hear the music.

Until you actually start singing and instantly a bunch of groupies gather around to hear your beautiful voice. Then you're going to be late to your appointment because it would be rude to leave after a one song set.

If I take the bus, I usually have my iPod on fairly loud since I hate listening to other people talk loudly or the sound of the bus. I don't often see people blasting softer music so I wonder what people think when they see me.

LOL. I remember this one white SKINNY dude on the bus the type that you don't even expect to listen to rap music.
He comes by and stands where I'm standing and his music's on full blast and all you hear is , "BITCH WHAT NIGGGAH!?" Like 3x in a row.
And he stares at me for whole 5 seconds, his eyes were like 'OHFUCK WTF!!" After 2 stops i left and just started laughing out loud
I tried my hardest to keep on a straight face, I just had to let it out after that. That shit was totally unexpected.
