I'm in a band; 'Leucistic'. It's currently composed of myself, the bassist (and leader, of sorts), my guitarist Luke (a.k.a. Kirk) and my drummer, Chelsie. And now, after a few months on hiatus - due to timing, other commitments getting in the way, lack of a space to practice, etc - we're back together, and what's more, we have our old kickass practice room! 
Since we were last there, the whole place has had a renovation. (It looks swank as hell now.) Anyway, as a part of this renovation, they've also fitted the place with yet another drumkit (making it up to 3 now), a ~ £250 guitar effects unit - which made Kirk very excited - a full set of PA, and a couple of really nice chairs also. But of course, they didn't think to restring any of the guitars... or acquire another bass guitar, for that matter.
I think I'll probably have to buy some spare strings and restring the guitars that are there myself.
Of course, actually just getting back together/playing together was just fantastic. I forgot how good we all were together!
Additionally, I was talking to one of the volunteers at the youth centre where we practice, and he mentioned that we might be able to play at some of the functions hosted by other youth centres in the area, which would be awesome; we'd get be getting out there, gaining some experience, having fun, getting ourselves known, etc... maybe even getting a paid gig or two!
