I'd say keep but you might want to crop the laptop out a bit

Meh, I can't really crop the laptop out without cutting off half the picture.

I say leave it like it is. The background and even the laptop actually add to the picture I think. It gives the picture more character and says something about your character as well. You obviously enjoy being on computers!

I could try my hand at this. I fail at photoshop with real pictures.

I'm rather fond of the original.

Let it be.

That isn't too bad actually. You put a lot more time in it than I did. Posted Image Ok, so my suggestion is to either go with the original, or if you still want a more professional look, go with Scot's.

Because of the pretty lighting and shading on your face I don't think changing the background its going to work to well unless you use a contrasting or complimentary shade. I vote for original with slight laptop crop. :)

Here's the .psd with background removed if anyone else wants to mess with it/swap backgrounds.

Edit: Removed a bit of red-eye, desaturated the background a bit, and dimmed computer glare.

Edit2: Haven't feathered and blended yet because I rather not put effort into unused work when I have commissions to do tonight.

Does it have to be clean or can there be a sort of grainy effect? I fail at photoshop. Least I can say is that I tried.
