Rescreatu is a pretty good online pet game - similar to Neopets, but has a lot of different unique features. So, have you heard of it? Do you play?

That's almost a 1,000 players in one day. Not too many pet sites are that popular these days.
It's still pretty big in the virtual pets world. Why don't you try?

Well, nobody has been marketing it - not a lot of people know about it. You have to remember, its been a work in process - and multiple versions. They're working on v3 now.

I could probably hammer out some GM scripts for just about anything, I just need to be motivated to do so

I feel like the "pet game" market really is cornered by neopets and other well-endowed companies. These little sites can gather a nice cult following, but they never truly get a solid playerbase.

Marapets took off with an advertising campaign. A few other pet sites have a solid player base - like Aywas a few others.

I dont play cuz I just thing its a bad copy of neopets except you have to hunt for eggs..

Ya, they're working on v3. After that comes up, they're dropping a lot of money on an ad campaign - so I'd recommend starting early and getting ahead before the campaign comes.

Well, like I said, if there were progs I'd run 'em... But I don't really enjoy spending time on neopets apart from playing flash games to pass the time, so I wouldn't jump into another pet site with both feet just yet
