Ok, either the neoalert doesn't exist yet to do this properly, or I couldn't figure out how to work it. So, I figured that we could collaborate here. Every day, once the competition starts, if the next person could either list what the marrow weight IS, or (more likely) all of the numbers that it is NOT--in numerical order--then subsequent guessers will have a better chance. There are only 601 possibilities (from 200 to 800), so we should have Codex winners on a regular basis if enough of us will participate. Just guess one that hasn't been tried, and then add it to the list.

Truth. But it is helpful and what this does only increases the chances for someone to win. Though slightly.
That will be the hardest part though, getting hundreds of members to participate. But I will
continue following this thread and helping for the 'eck of it

It would work better as a neoalert in which the server just assigns random numbers between 200 and 800 to your click, then the next 9 clickers after the winner get it too. Noitidart is supposed to be working on it.

Im sorry to say this, but this wont catch on... there are waaaaay to many possibilities.
And it'll be mostly useless to the people doing all the work since they would've used up their guess.

How many people would guess every day? We had a neoalert set up for it but only 3-5 people guessed a day. If we get 30+ people willing to guess every day I can bring that neoalert back.
It assigns a number to everyone. They guess that and report if it was correct. If it was correct everyone gets re-alerted with the correct number.

Esilim can you make a topic with a poll asking will you guess every day for marrow. We can get a good head count this way. I really want 30+ otherwise it might not be so useful.

I have the code for the neoalert. It shouldn't be too much effort, but we need a good number of people.
