Sounds neat! I know a couple of autobuyers that are proper good as well!

Most are poorly coded, and designed like someone needed the toilet real bad!

I'm going to try this program again, with small shops and no big profit items.. slow and steady.. then if I don't get frozen and make 5-10 mil I'll go legit :D

Sounds reasonable to me, Jake. Have fun working slow and steady. You can actually still make decent profit levels consistently on a 1-month account.

It's not as epic as everyone else is experiencing, but it does work towards the slow and steady award.

Beta testing is nearing a close! We are slowly approaching that time... the time when we release the application for the public to use. :p

The reason it's taking so long is that we're continually improving the database so that it works reliably. It will definitely be here before September though, haha.

Not to mention that the longer we update the Item Database, the better the end product will be for users. Those first few days were a little unproductive for me because the database didn't know what was in the shops. I think things are on their way up, though... and things will be awesome.

You considering a release after the database switchover?

ok I dowloaded the program. I love the idea of it because I am disabled and I just can't type quick enough to compete with RSers. I have a few questions though:

1. I am using my own list of stores and to be honest I haven't seen the program buy anything yet. Is it slow or what?
2. What are the chances of being frozen using it?

The program buys, I can say that. I've already made 4 mill with it and I think Hawk might be at 10 mill now. :p
(In fact, I'm buying stuff right now.. then again, my list is a couple hundred items long and it's from the database, not a manual one).

Is your list a simple list of items for one shop, with each item on its own line? That's what it takes.

Two users have been frozen because of it, but they were refreshing all day in the Magic Shop with it, and they were using settings below the new default. The new default settings should help the refreshing, while it its the responsibility of you to make sure you're not ABing for too long.

-------
Oh, be sure to post your logs also guys. :p I'm interested in seeing how well the program is working.

Do so at your own risk though, since TNT can maybe match the purchases up in their database and find out what account you're using from that.

Proof that it is indeed buying:

2009-08-19 13:17:45 - Abrosia MSAB Started.
2009-08-19 13:22:20 - Bought Igloo Garage Sale Stamp: 2207 NP

:D (that item is only about 7k profit though... it sure adds up though, damn.)

Seconded. Hear hear for the team. They're doing a superb job.

I have probably made around 2 million in about a week, but it's spread across 4 1-month shells.

Either way, this system is new, exciting, and incredibly accurate.

huh I still haven't gotten it to buy a single dang thing. I took 200k out of the bank to try it with and not one object bought. I don't understand at all. You guys have it working for you but it seems to hang up on me. What should the settings be for it to work right?

I'm letting it randomly go to store. BUT it stays in that store forever and never buys anything. Right now its in Grundo Cafe for an 1/2 hour already and not one buy!

The problem at the moment may be that there is not much data for that particular shop... just yet. You may feel disappointed in its performance right now, but once you hit a shop that the beta testers have been hitting hard, you'll see those numbers pick up dramatically.

Just think of it this way: You're doing a favor for the next person who happens to go shopping in the Grundo Cafe.

You should be switching shops in about 15 minutes anyway :p

You have to remember that the database has only been going for a few days (and it's only been out of testing for a few hours) so there's plenty of items still to add to the lists, but we do need people to run in those shops to actually see the items. Grundo's cafe doesn't have too many profitable items in there yet, you can use the Item Database frontend to see which items have been found for each shop.

The lists will get better the more people run it.
