so I was just doing my usual (looking through neopets stuff)
and found out about 'stuck' neopets. AKA they can never be found through pound surfing
Only by knowing their exact names.

Well, I found a few of these 'stuck' pets where it said the owner was 'none.' I tried searching for them in the pound, but came up with nothing I tried this with a Jetsam and hissi...
Does anyone know more about this?

For "search engine" they mean google search btw.

Why don't you write their names in the neopets search bar? MAybe it works. If you press "none" it won't work.

If you are looking for painted pets, they sometimes have some, but they usually don't last long, there's a speckled shoyru atm with a warf, but I cba adopting it.

I wonder if they are pets from accounts that were frozen, and then the names recycled... Then the pets wouldn't have an owner and not be in the pound.

Some of these 'stuck pets' are pound release pets and cannot be adopted until they are 'released.' Here's a guide here:

but that page hasn't been updated in a year or so, so plenty of those pets have already been released. there are still some left though

- is your account under 4 months old?
-they might be pets stuck in transfer. check the petpage, if the owner is "direct_transfer" they're not actually in the pound, they're being transferred.
