THIS CONTEST IS NOW OVER

Today we begin a game that will span several days and will be a battle of attrition among all of you. The goal is to outlast the competition and be the last man standing.

Rules:

• I will pick the name of an ordinary household item. When I post the name of the item, you must locate it by any means necessary and take a picture of it. The only requirement is that the item is real and not something you found online. Post the picture in this thread.
• You must do this within 24 hours of the timestamp that I post. If all participants advance before the 24 hours is up, I will post a new item immediately. Submissions past the deadline do not count, even if I have not posted a new challenge.
• For every item, you must either be in the picture with your face present holding it up OR be holding a sign pic with your username on it. If you choose to do a sign pic, you must write your username clearly on a piece of paper and draw the picture of the trollface (NO TRACING) as accurate as you can next to it. This pic must be the same pic used in every picture. If I doubt your pic then you will be disqualified.
• I reserve the right to audit suspicious pics by requiring you to submit additional information about it.
• This contest is open to all users whether you've won anything in the past or not.
• I reserve the right to change the rules at any time and make them retroactive if I think that it makes the contest more fair.
• Each successful challenge is worth 1 point. This is not an easter egg.
• Challenge #1 will be open indefinitely through this contest, but others will not. Once a challenge is closed you will not be able to score points.
• You can enter this contest by doing challenge #1. No need to PM me.
• You will not be eliminated if you fail a challenge, you just won't score points for it.
• The player with the most points at the end of the month wins.
• In the event of any ties, the player who completed the most challenges consecutively without failing takes gets the advantage.

Round 3: Find and take a pic of a black shoelace inside of an empty 2-liter bottle of Coca Cola or Pepsi. - Closed
Round 4: Find and take a picture of a saw. (Handsaw, chainsaw, etc... No smartass answers like a dvd of the movie Saw) - Closed
Round 5: Find and take a picture of a VCR player OR 5 VHS tapes. VHS tapes doesn't have to be retail, can be blanks. VCR can be built into the tv, or as a DVD/VCR combo. - Closed

Round 7: Find and take a picture of a pine cone. Fake/scented pine cones not allowed. Tree needs to be present. -Closed
Round 8: Find and take a pic of a rolling pin. A picture of yourself with a live kangaroo may be used in place of this challenge. -Closed
Round 9: Take a pic of a real(meaning it actually plays) electric guitar or acoustic guitar. Rockband/Guitar hero controllers not acceptable. -Closed
Round 10: Take a picture of your New Year's drink of choice! -Closed
Round 11: Take a picture of spraypaint graffiti. Yes you can create your own but it better not be something half assed like a " :-)" Omg someone please do a trollface graffiti. Option B: A pic of yourself with a kangaroo. 48 Hours - Closed
Round 12: Take a pic of a roll of film. -Closed
Round 13: Take a pic of a library card. You must include a picture of each side. Student IDs that double as a library card do not count unless it specifically says library card on the card itself. -Closed
Round 14: Take a pic of foreign currency. It includes coins and bank notes, Government issued bonds and certificates also included. You cannot use your country's official currency even if foreign countries do(the Euro) for obvious reasons. -Closed
Round 15: Any First Edition Holographic Pokemon card in any language. -Closed
Round 16: Take a picture of some poker chips and an AAAA(quadruple A) battery. -Closed
Round 17: A Spork. A (Political) Campaign Ad/Sign/Poster/Billboard (no mail,pamphlets, flyers,anything that looks homemade,bumper sticker). (Imaginary) Bonus points if you find one of those LaRouche PAC Obama signs with Joker makeup AND a Hitler 'stache! An(d my) Axe! -Closed

Current standings




The game will end when 1st and 2nd place are separated by 1 point. The remaining ranks will be determined by score, then highest streak will be used as tie breaker, and current streak will be used if highest streak results in a tie.
